Keeping an ear out for our guests arriving today, I heard a noise at the front door... Lol! Not the guests I was expecting😂
🥂Kelty Cabins is absolutely thrilled to feature in the Edinburgh Scotsman's 'Escape the Fringe' article today! Last year over 2.4 million visitors came to the Edinburgh Fringe... hopefully, after they've been & seen they might like to 'Check in for a magical adventure' at Kelty Cabins?🤞💕

We closed doors for a couple of days this week to add a few special extras to our site... What is it they say about flat packs!?! ...1 man, 6 hours, a hammer & an allen key!?! If only! 🤣 Hubby felt well rehearsed having not long ago built our own children's climbing frame but nothing prepared him for the commercial standard business that laid before him! It took 2 men, 2 days, with a bunch of power tools, countless bags of cement, a 2 foot deep by near 40 sq.m hole and the be...st part of a thousand screws, to complete this climbing frame😂🤣I know, hilarious... if only he'd let me go to Ikea!!!
Doors open again, we've welcomed guests from as far as Canada to as close as Callander! Each and all have blown us away with their kind comments and their beautiful first reaction when they arrive... it means so much to hear having taken such a giant leap of faith into something new like we have. Later this week, we welcome a number of wedding guests who booked their Cabin that long ago we were still a building site! We can't thank you all enough for believing we could do it 😊 tho lol! I'm sure if they saw this photo at the time, they might have had some doubts!😅x

It's silage time at Wester Third Farm!!! Our beautiful Kelty Cabins overlook some of the most luscious & greenest fields in the country... Did anyone see the helicopter view shown on Twitter last night of a brown patchwork countryside!? 😯...Can't believe the summer we're having 😃 It's magic!!! 💕
Here's a wee peak at the fun going on here today & tomorrow! Cutting & collecting about 140 acres of grass to feed our cows in the winter:) We've been blessed to have a good cut this year as some have really felt the drought 😞 Lol, so much so, we are thinking about offering cow B&B... Yes, Cow Bed & Breakfast! 😂 No joke! Don't worry tho' ...Kelty Cabins is pet free, so the hot tubs are safe for now! 🤣xxx

I have found myself getting ridiculously excited about marshmallows!!! The Naked Marshmallow Company has blown my mind... undecided on roasting the salted caramel variety or plunge straight into big kid heaven with the Raspberry & Prosecco or award winning Elderflower & London Gin! Undecided on the Expresso Martini!... What would you choose...!?! 😍Time to get the fire lit in the BBQ Kota!!! x

I'm so sorry, I don't want to be a damp squid... we've had a massive interest in hen nights and know not all hen nights are the same! ...Tho lol! I still blush when I think of mine!😳We are a family friendly site, often have people with young families staying, lovely neighbours close by and a tranquil countryside that wakens at night with stunning wildlife & deer💕 We are more than happy to welcome friends who can respect our site policy and be considerate of those nearby. Ok, so here's the thing! ...No-one believes me but it's honestly true! Every Kelty Cabin comes with it's very own private hot tub and private BBQ kota cabin! It's true!... that's three cabins, three hot tubs & three BBQ kota's on the whole site!! I know!!! Fantastic huh!?👍
I think we're good but then, no... that can't be right, that's too good to be true! It is, I promise!!!😂 I'm afraid there's not a lot of grace or dignity in the proof... a drone would have helped but that's... not what my husband had in mind! Yes, I was packed in a calf crate, hoisted 10m in the air with an iPad on a forklift Manitou, shouting back a bit, over, over, yes, yes... for the whole National Park to hear!!!😳 So... here is the proof! Hot Tub... BBQ Kota... Private Patio... Spacious wet room... Luxury facilities... Family friendly... Sleeps up to 6... All weather facilities... Stunning views... Something for everyone!

Wow!! Just back from a short break at Kelty Cabins and absolutely loved it!! There is a huge amount of space per site so plenty of room to let the kids run around and each site is very private. The cabins are beautifully decorated and with quality furnishings making it very luxurious. Great location, countryside feel and views but not too far from town. The hot tub and bbq pods are the perfect place to relax...couldn’t ask for more!! We will definitely be back!!

Was fantastic, the rain couldn't stop the indoor BBQ pits!

Perfect place for a getaway! Highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to spend my 21st birthday weekend in my favourite place ever, we stayed in brand new luxury cabins, complete with Jacuzzi and BBQ hut!!��It was absolute paradise!� highly recommend it, perfect balance between luxury and rural. Amazing countryside views too! I hope to return at the end of summer!

Had a fabulous weekend away. Perfect spot for a bit of relaxation after a long week! Can’t wait to go back!

Delightful set of cabins with great kitchen, style and incredible views of surrounding scenery. Even works in poor weather, as you can scramble from cabin to hot tub to fire hut and scarcely get rained on! Very thoughtful design throughout, including safety issues like leaving extractor fans in fire huts running all night.

As a Canadian visiting family, I was quite intrigued with the whole concept. Great way to get together, as you can get about a dozen people in the fire huts and hang out around the fire. Works better as a fire than a barbecue, as it is hard to get a lot of heat from charcoal briquets with the open format. Lots of opportunity to cook with induction stove and good oven.

An enjoyable spot, and right at the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. A little village with a newspaper shop is a nice morning walk away as well. Loved it!!

Beautiful lodges with great attention to detail in picturesque surroundings, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful accommodation in lovely country setting! All the rooms and bathrooms are 5 star quality. Would love to return!
