Today was the first week of our new Sunday School series where we are learning about the creation account in the book of Genesis. Below is a link to the song we are learning!

John and Margaret Langlands are hosting members of 'Fisherman's Tail' at their house for the next 2 weeks. They are performing ( Monday – Saturday) at 2pm in Carrubbers Christian Centre, 65 High Street, Edinburgh for the next fortnight, and are putting on a show based on the life of the Disciples. Cost is £5!
For the fishermen who sail on her, the Sea of Galilee provides plenty of fish and plenty of stories. Local fishermen Andrew and Simon have set out to be the best fisherm...en on the waters, even in the face of their fishing rivals, the Sons of Thunder. Until one day a strange man appears and blows everyone's efforts out of the water, changing the Fishermen’s lives forever.
Fisherman’s Tail is an hour long musical, perfect for the whole family, showing the life, death and resurrection of Jesus through the eyes of the fishermen disciples, as they discover what it means to be fishers of men. Featuring live music with actor-musicians, and a host of hearty songs, Fisherman’s Tail is a fun-filled musical experience not to be missed.

It's August, great month. The 8th month signifies new beginnings. May all that you have been praying for come alive in this new month. Speak the word of the Lord to every situation.
The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord , and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God , You know.”Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord !
Ezekiel 37:1‭-‬4NKJV

Praise the Lord , my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord , my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1‭-‬5 NIV

I pray your week started well. Let your praise be sure no matter what your circumstances are. The Lord remains sovereign and worthy of all our praise. This does not change even in the storms of life. He is the Lord of all. Praise the Lord . Praise the Lord , my soul. Have a praiseful week. God bless you
Psalm 146:1 NIV

Sometimes loneliness can cause pain and isolation. I have found that belonging to a church family has been a blessing because I have many brothers and sisters who check up on me and even pray for me. Do not walk alone. Whenever you are alone, you are susceptible for attacks, depression, and even breakdown. Do not be alone in those times of loneliness. Please link in. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us. Even in our darkest moments, He is there with us. Allow him into your heart an...d experience the comfort of His love. If you are lonely and need to talk to someone or someone to pray with you, please get in touch. In a sad and lonely world, you have a saviour who cares and a family in Christ to stand with you.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 NIV

As we head out to church, let us know that the word of the Lord is sharper than any two edged sword. As we listen to today's teaching, let the word fill our hearts and inspire us to know the Lord better.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, II Timothy 3:16 NKJV

We start a new series in Sunday School for the Summer holidays! We will look at some of the miracles of Jesus.
Our song for the series will be focusing on the 12 disciples who witnessed these things:

The slogan it's coming home has got me thinking, we as Christians know that Jesus is coming soon. Rapture may not come now but we know death can come at any time. Where would you go? Would you be going home to Jesus? Jesus is calling. Do not delay.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. Joel 3:14

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. Psalm 47:6‭-‬8 NIV
