The qualified technician should have good experience in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing. Vauxhall specific training isn't required but would be of benefit.

The Approved Workshop Scheme is a joint enterprise between the NCC (National Caravan Council), The Caravan and Motorhome Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Originating on the 1st January 1978, and the only scheme to be supported by all of the major UK manufacturers.

We were unlucky enough to break down in our motorhome just outside Crumnock and a recovery vehicle came out to us from Kerr and Smith. As the mechanic couldn't solve the problem he recovered us to their garage. Whilst the mechanics tried to diagnose the problem we were taken ( along with our dog) into the showroom and given cups of tea and made to feel very welcome. As it was getting late we realised we were going to have to find somewhere to stay for the night but this was difficult as we had a dog. All the members of staff got involved ringing hotels for us without making us feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. As it became clear we weren't going to find accomodation locally someone managed to find us and the dog a hotel in Ayr but when we looked worried about how we would get there these amazing people offered us a courtesy car. The following morning the mechanics worked on the motorhome until they solved the problem and put us back on the road. I am so grateful to have found such caring people and will be eternally grateful to them for understanding our predicament. If I was ever to want to buy a car I would totally trust this garage and it's staff. Thank you to you all you helped two pensioners in their time of need.

The people that work in the body shop done a great job sorting my car, thanks very much! Excellent service. Also thanks to valet team who made a fantastic job cleaning my car inside and out. A special thanks to Jason and Graham for everything they done getting the car in for a quick turn around in two working days. Cheers
