Not good for vegetarian; lack of taste in food. The sundae is not as advertised and the marshmallows are stale. The restaurant itself (table/seats/décor) is clean and freshly presented. Pricey. But appears popular with locals and perhaps is better for meat-eaters.

Nice place in central Edinburgh. Offers a nice lunch menu. Food is very good but much too much for me at lunch time. I was exhausted after having had not only half of the food. Restaurant be noisy in the evening.

Was recommended to us by our B&B and we were so happy with everything we ordered. Our entire table agreed it was the best Indian we've ever eaten. Maybe the Indian in Australia just isn't up to scratch?!
Every meal had delicately cooked meat and fantastic flavour. Not too rich but balanced.
The decor is very Bollywood, and the din can on occasion make it hard to hear those at your table, but it's encouraging to keep the table lively.
If you're stuck trying to decide what to eat, you will not regret choosing this place. Better book ahead though!

Very enjoyable. Had a lamb curry which had a flavour I had not experienced before. Also BYO drinks will save you money.

This would be my first review but was compelled to. The guy managing the restaurant is rude, very airy, full of himself with his stupid sense of humor (thinks he is funny). He has no decency or etiquette, which reflects the lack of education and skill set to run a place. Service is slow and sloppy, cleanliness is poor and the food is average, nothing special. Overall experience 0 stars. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
