Kilbarchan Bowling Club

Following on from our last update a week ago things have moved on at quite a pace. As a club we have a responsibility to follow Government guidelines on avoiding all unnecessary social contact and gatherings. For this reason the club and all its facilities are now closed until further notice. This is going to have a significant impact on our season, however the welfare and protection of our members and staff is paramount. We will do all we can to ensure the green is maintaine...d throughout this period of closure and hope that we will be able to get back out and playing again soon. Many thanks to all those who managed to pay their membership fees prior to closure. Thanks also to all the staff. Once we know the impact of this closure on our club we will be back in touch with you all. Meanwhile on behalf of the club we hope you all stay safe and well during these unprecedented times. The management committee met tonight and the decision was made to close the club from 7pm on Sunday 22/03/20. We would ask that if you have not done so already that you pay this years fees before the end of March. We will keep you updated as and when new information is available. The health and safety of all members will always be our priority.

Good news....... If you are 25 or under, you can get free membership for a year. Just fill in a form at the club and woo hoo, you are a member. All fees are Status quo, meaning all under 25 year olds get a free membership. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Fees for 2020 are as follows.
... Full members £135 New members, new to bowls £67 Limited play £67 Social /non playing £25 25 and under free.

A wee reminder that the club AGM will be held tomorrow night at 7pm prompt. For those that will be staying afterwards, the finals of the wee carpet will be played. Good luck to those involved.

KBC Ladies are having a Beetle Drive/Cheese & Wine on Tuesday 24th March, 7.30pm - £5.00 please come along with family and friends

Tomorrow Kilbarchan will host the semi final of the P&DIBA Club knockout between Anchor & Woodlands. Best of luck to both teams, game starts at 10am. The winners will play Shanks in the final, next week at Barrhead B.C.

Bar opens at 6.30 pm tonight. Europa league football on the television.

Well done to Anne Docherty and Adam Semple the new P&D Mixed Pairs champions.🏆 Commiserations to Charleston B.C. who had played excellent to get to the final, but were outdone by the Kilbarchan pair in the final. 👏👏

Good luck to Kilbarchan duo Anne Docherty & Adam Semple in the P&DIBA mixed pairs. They will play the semi final at Barrhead B. C. on sunday at 1pm, and if they win, will play the final at roughly 3pm, again at Barrhead.
It would be good to see a few Kilbarchan members give their support.
