Lovely room with a spectacular view out over the sea; was magical to watch the sunrise from the comfort of our bed. Friendly service and good food (we had dinner in the bar restaurant on the first night) and the full Scottish breakfast kept us going throughout the day. Highly recommended!
Have had a great couple of evenings drinking good beer, great cocktails and the inevitable whiskey. Superb food well cooked and nicely presented

Fabulous secluded hotel for that quiet getaway. Room 3 was superb and the hotel has some of the best views on the island. Food is exceptional and very fairly priced. The staff cannot do enough to help make your stay amazing and Anna is especially helpful and attentive.
Room and bathroom nice and clean though a little tired in areas. Tea and coffee in the room and plenty of storage for a few days.
The hotel overlooks a rocky beach and Pladda lighthouse. Walk along the beach and you will see the rare and beautiful brown seals, really cool.
Breakfast is magnificent with a fabulous selection of cereals, toast, fruit, cheeses and a large Scottish fry up all washed down with ample tea, coffee and juice.
On a night the bar is charming and cheery with a great selection of drinks and food. In particular the fish will satisfy the largest of appetites.
Would I visit again? Definitely.
Charming rooms very well designed, 5 Starr staff, very professional service. I will recommend Chicken pie and chips in their restaurant - the taste from heaven. I will definitely come back. Important - dog friendly hotel.

Take yourself down on a wild and blustery day for a coffee.
Free wifi is also decent, no GF option.
