Wonderful hotel. South African girl on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere in the hotel albeit a little quiet due to the time of year. Breakfast was excellent with ample choice, served to you. We opted for the larger room with king size bed and it was very comfortable. When we go back to Edinburgh we will probably stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very welcoming, very friendly and a perfect location. We will definitely stay again when we visit Edinburgh. Breakfast choice was amazing and the scrambled eggs were done to perfection mmmm!
This was our first trip to Scotland and this lodge was recommended by a friend, turned out to be a 5 star recommendation. The staff were friendly and helpful...great comfortable quiet rooms. The breakfast was made to order. The location was perfect, a 1 mile from downtown with the bus stop outside the front door..several times we bused into downtown and walked back...

Really liked this hotel. Good value for money and everyone was very relaxed and happy to help. Local to the city centre but not too local that it was hard to park or get away from the busyness. Would recommend and definitely choose this venue again.

Lovely quiet hotel with free private parking. A short bus ride to Princes St you have the best of both worlds. Great staff, lovely room at a decent price! Love it and we use it time and again!
Just returned from a night here and what a lovely place. The staff were so helpful and friendly especially the Canadian man and the lady who checked us in and out. The food was gorgeous and the bed the most comfortable one ever, if we can we'd love to stay again. Thank you.

Fabulous room, great position good breakfast
Amazing Hotel, was cosy apartment and owner met us late at night due to arriving into Scotland late. Told us his story was amazing, left us a Sherry and biscuits to help sleep. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, been traveling and was like we arrived home to a cooked meal. The service and interaction from manager and staff was brilliant, caring totally must stay!!! Thanks
