Absolutely fabulous. This is the first time we have stayed at the Kildrummy Inn and it was fantastic. Room was lovely, with fantastic views, dinner was delightful and breakfast was a brilliant start to the day. The service and hosting at the kildrummy inn is second to none! Highly recommend!

I have only visited this establishment twice, however both times i have found it hard to choose from the menu (I prefer simple things) and the price is rather high. Staff are very kind and helpful.

Beautiful scenery
Set in the mountains the local area is breathtaking! Also the staff here are fantastic and treated us like royalty. But their website indicates that this is a 4 star hotel. It's tiny! I've stayed in larger bed and breakfasts. Our room was barely large enough to fit the bed. It reminded me of student halls. The bed linen felt like polyester. The reception area is the size of most people's front rooms and it has a bar crammed in. This is where all the guests sit and wait for their tables to be prepared. It's a real squeeze. The food looks nice but there's very little of it. Perhaps it depends on what you order but none of it tasted amazing (with the exception of a pureed roast vegetable soup which was lovely). I would prefer it if they stopped focusing on presentation and focused instead on feeding you. You are in the middle of nowhere here, it's not like you can pop out for a quick sandwich before your meal. The breakfast on the other hand is really good, 2 courses including a traditional Scottish fry up, more than enough food to set you up for the day. In conclusion, lovely staff but I'm afraid I can't recommend this hotel.
