Hi folks, due to the European Championships cycling route, the restaurant will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 8th). Maryhill road and surrounding streets will be closed off for the day therefore accessing the restaurant will be difficult. Sorry if we have ruined any plans. All back to normal Thursday though 🙂

Greetings all. Due to a number of requests we are now going to run the Valentine's Day menu from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th Feb. No excuses now 😉

We Had New years Day Dinner with our Family there yesterday, what a brilliant experience we had.

The food was amazing and the service was first class .The staff worked so hard and made sure everything was perfect, a huge thank you to all the staff for a great Evening. We would definitely recommend Christmas or New Year at the polo club and will definitely booking again for next year and also during the year.

Was in Thursday for lunch with my two friends it was lovely . Plenty on the plates nan bread was amazing staff really friendly and was admiring your wall lights lol xx ps will definitely be going back x

Second time we have been for a birthday celebration had a great night and it was busy with Birthday parties the Service was great from everyone and Kelly our Server couldn't have done enough for us thank you for a great night again

Perfect for lunch time. Great range of dishes. Good portion sizes and not pricey in the least. Plenty of off street parking space and the restaurant is in a traditional 1900's sandstone villa that retains much of its original look and features.

My Husband booked this for a birthday treat went along with our grandsons aged 9-3 Absolutely lovely meal, the service was exceptional couldn't do enough to make us welcome. Will definitely reckoned this to friends.

Just been for the first time and had the most wonderful experience. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable from the very beginning - phoning to make enquiries - to leaving and having my coat put on me. I showed an interest in the vegetarian dish and the manager had the chef make a vegetarian version of my favourite curry even though I explained I have no special dietary requirements, just a preference. The starters were made fresh and the peshwari naan was phenomenal. Will definitely come back soon. Thanks very much! :) x

I used to go there all the time because they had a big variety of excellent food. Unfortunately they were taken over by a management who took the sheen completely out of the place. Now, however, under new management, they are back on form and I can't recommend them enough! The buffet food is good quality and all the usual suspects are there. The ala carte menu is very good and there's something for every taste on it. The staff are friendly and chatty and will help to guide you through the menu if you want to try something new.

I recently converted to a vegan diet and after searching for a replacement from my old chicken korma order, I told the chefs my dilemma and they went out their way to make me a special coconut milk korma-esque curry. It was amazing!!! And very much appreciated! Thank you!!

Had a brilliant meal tonight! My fiancé and I have been coming here for years and it's been through a few different hands over the last while. However these guys are doing it right! Had the buffet; they bring fresh starters to the table (so it's not sitting out), fresh naan and rice for the mains, and authentic homemade Indian desserts and a hot towel to freshen up at the end, a real treat! Will most definitely be back!! Staff are fantastic, attentive and genuinely want you to enjoy your evening. We had a great night! Thank you x

Food was absolutely delicious, the staff had amazing customer service and were really friendly. I will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend this place 🖒

Dont often opt for indian buffets as normally all the currys taste the same and are cold but NOT this place south indian garlic chilli chicken was excellent. Service was exceptional waiter even told us if our favourite curry was not in the buffet they would make it fresh !!! Be back soon !

I love the Polo club whether for takeaway or sitting in the food is delicious and the service and staff are great 👍

The staff are charming and food innovative. They do things differently with their food. It has a little twist. The only complaint was food was a little overcooked and charred which slightly spoiled the experience for my elderly mum who was looking forward to the lamb chop starter. She was disappointed that it was overcooked as was her lamb and my chicken in our main course. Sauces were beautiful but meat definitely overdone. I have been before to the buffet and had no complaints on that occasion.

Went for weekend buffet never have I ever had a buffet that the starts get made fresh and brought to the table. There was 6 of us having buffet and 3 of us having from the a la carte. They brought 1 plate of pakora & chicken pieces ( mixed) and a mushroom dish. Very poor for 6 sharing. They did tell us we could order another one. Not the point...... point of a buffet it's to help yourself. Then on the main yes that was laid out like a buffet but rice & nan to be brought to table. So very poor defo wouldnt recommend here for a buffet. Food was fair. Asked for a can of irn bru only to be told they don't sell cans in the restaurant on draft or bottled I explained I only like cans but still allowed me to drink water all night to then be told at the end of my meal i could have a can. Very poor customer service.

South Indian curry rice and garlic nan bread the order came with no rice customer service wasn’t the best when I called to say no rice I had to wait for rice to be delivered by then curry and nan was cold and yeah they still took the £2.50 off me for rice the man taking the order quiet clearly never heard me ask for rice told me the price of my order would be £14.95 so didn’t question the fact there was no rice in the order so in fact the curry and nan and £2.00 delivery was £17.45 absolute joke when you can get a set meal for £10.95 you guys really need to sort your prices out. The curry had not one bit of spice to it at all no chilli 🌶 in the curry tasteless chicken was dry was just disgusting bland tasteless rubbish the garlic nan was not garlic nan it was like butter had been slapped on it and made it greasy not a hint of garlic in this bread this has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had from this restaurant I don’t know what kind of curry they gave me but certainly wasn’t what I asked or paid for poor quality food shocking customer service please do not order from here I tipped the driver so for £20 it was a total disgrace I’ve had a better microwave curry from Asda unfortunately for them I have many family and friends who use here and will not be using this place again ***** STAY WELL CLEAR AVOID AVOID AVOID***

Order was wrong the first time and even after calling them it took a further 40 plus minutes to get here meaning over an hour and a half to deliver to someone 5 minutes down the road. And i wish it was worth waiting for! My fiance got a watery korma, whatever tomato thing they originally sent me had clearly been made with heinz ketchup and the biryani i waited over an hour and a half for was dry, stale and completely lacked flavour. As an alternative to ordering from this mob, you could watch an instructional video, buy the ingrediants and then make your own biryani and yould still likely have time to spare for a beer or a quickie or whatever. Complete waste of time and money.
