Nice traditional hotel. Overlooks river. Pleasant surrounds. Good service and very good meals. Room very clean and good set up. Bathroom refreshed and well appointed. Breakfast continental and good. Cooked breakfast was very well cooked. Overall good place to stay. Good value.
Had a delicious dinner on Friday 13th. Celebrating 39 years married. So good we went back on the Saturday. Staff were lovely.
Overpriced, average quality, drinks served without ice, plated cleared from tables before every has finished, comically soggy veg, stodgy mash, dry as hell meat, everything sprinkled with parsley to try and mask all this, oh and cold "deep fried brie" starter (how is this even possible?). Probably order the lamb shank, it has a sauce that kinda hides the worst of it.
Good food. Well stocked bar. Friendly attentive staff. Good location in the town. Warm cosy atmosphere. Rooms are small but not too cramped. Clean and comfortable. Our room had fantastic view. Hotel is roomy in the public areas. There is lift access to all floors. Parts of the hotel are dated but adds to the character. I would definitely recommend. Pet friendly.
Coming back here for years, lovely hotel and meals here are good!....nice place to escape the rat race is Killin. Special location for exploring and relaxing plus the river and loch is easily accessible for kayaking etc. Recommended for sure! 👍💕😍
Had a lovely meal here, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Even allowed our two dogs in and provided them with water. Lovely setting too
Probably the worst wifi in Scotland...but the hotel is good value, great breakfasts, food is good and the scenery and locale are fabulous...

Fantastic stay. Hotel is lovely, perhaps a little d fashioned, but this adds to its charm. Friendly staff, comfortable room and the food was just amazing. Dinner was delicious, great sized portions, and breakfast was a delight. Porridge the best ever tasted, and the fresh cooked breakfast was delicious too. Would recommend, and look forward to coming back. A warm welcome on a rainy Thursday afternoon!
