Welcome to the website of Kilsyth Church of God, a Pentecostal Church affiliated to the Elim Movement.
How many of us are looking for more love in 2013 – more joy – more peace? The reality is that as these are all “fruit of the Spirit” if we are looking for more of these qualities they come from within us so it is a matter of releasing them not acquiring them.
The fruit is produced naturally as we plant our roots deeply in the Word of God and draw water from river of the Holy Spirit.
We will be looking throughout the year at how we can be producers of good fruit and how we can increase the harvest of fruit in our lives.
My father was a grower on the Island of Guernsey and he worked the soil, steamed it, fertilized it, rotavatored it and shredded it, potted it, dug it and planted in it. As a result the tomatoes he grew were delicious. It takes a lot of hard work to cultivate our lives and produce good fruit from it.
I am praying that this year will be a year of a great harvest due to the determination of the people to produce good fruit for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
