A quick update on our former player, Eilidh Martin who not only made the Scotland squad for the development tournament in Malta, she went one further, making her international debut yesterday.
Eilidh played the entire game and helped Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 to a 4-0 win.
A massive well done again👏👏👏

We are delighted to announce two of the Kilwinning Rangers Under 16s players have been selected for the SYFA Scotland Development squad to travel to Vitesse, Holland in March.
Captain Ben Strain & Vice-Captain Jack McAlpine will be representing their Country. A great achievement for them both and a reflection of the good work going on in our youth set up.
... Well done to both Lads and a special mention to their coaches as they play a big part in the players development.

This weekend’s Fixtures.
Once again the weather has put paid to most of the football action. In an unprecedented move the SJFA have pulled the card on all fixtures due to the severe weather warnings as have the West of Scotland YFL, so far in the youths this is only for Saturday Matches.
... I have put up what I know to be on “As it stands” but please check social media for updates before heading out.
In the Juniors the Buffs have managed to secure a friendly at home to Darvel with an 11.00am Kick Off.
In the Youths it’s hopefully second time lucky for our U17s who take on Bellfield of Kilmarnock in the rescheduled Scottish Cup Quarter Final after last weeks game was abandoned at half time with in worsening conditions and a partially flooded “All” weather pitch, the Buffs 1-0 up. To be fair, when top premiership games are being put off you know the weather is bad. With all the rest of the Saturday games being put off we are hoping for a big support from the other teams, the local community and Buffs fans as this match follows the Darvel game.
Buffs U19s are on Cup duty themselves, this time it’s the Presidents Cup, away to Whitletts in another rescheduled match from last weekend. The U19s have played some fantastic football this season and have a strong squad but results haven’t gone their way, the old saying , if it wasn’t for bad luck, they’d have no luck very much being the case, they even had a perfectly good goal from a freekick to go 0-2 up against the league leaders chopped off for encroachment……..by the opposition. Hopefully a wee cup run will give them a lift for the end of season.
Respect All, Fear None.
Good Luck to all out Teams

FRIENDLY: We have managed to arrange a friendly against Championship side Darvel. Kick off is 11am at The Kilwinning Sports Club Astro Pitch. Entry by donation. Why not come along and see the first team in action followed by our under 17s in Scottish Cup action against Bellfield!

User

GAME OFF: Despite the best efforts of our committed volunteers tomorrow’s game at Buffs Park against Kirkintilloch Rob Roy is postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. We are in the process of organising a friendly on the plastic pitch and will confirm details when we have them

User

NEXT MATCH: We are home on Saturday against Kirkintilloch Rob Roy in the Mcbookie.com West Region Premiership. The volunteers have been hard at work this week doing some pitch maintenance. However we are at the mercy of the weather and will keep you posted!

This Saturday, our Kilwinning Rangers Under 17 team are playing their rearranged Scottish Cup Quarter Final against local rivals Bellfield of Kilmarnock at the Club after last weekends game was abandoned due to a partially flooded park and worsening weather.
The U17s are the last remaining Kilwinning Rangers Teams still in the Scottish Cup, and the winners of this tie will face Barrhead in the Semi-Final.
Our U16s Blues also had a great run in the Cup making it to the Quart...er Final stage but were beaten in extra time last weekend after a valiant effort against Motherwell FC. Our Under 15s Blues reached the 5th round and took a strong Faimuir side from Dundee all the way to penalties.
All support would be appreciated. Anyone in the town available this Saturday, get down to Kilwinning Sports Club to support Stephen Forrest, Michael Wardrope, Glenn Lewis & the boys.
Any of our youth teams available? Get the club colours on and get yourself down. I’m sure they could do with a few ball boys.

Some sad news. Former KSC Rovers and Buffs 2001 Squads First Aider Paul Hamilton passed away suddenly last week. Always cheery and passionate in his support for the Young Buffs, he will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts are with his wife Debbie and family at this time.
... Rest in Peace Paul.
