This was my first experience of Kimchi Cult and Korean food in general. Delicious! We ordered the pork, beef and prawn bao, the pork and beef bibimbap, both types of fried chicken, the kimchi cheese fries and the cult salad. All were really tasty but my favourites were the prawn bao and the fried chicken (either sauce). We will defo be back

User

Stunning dolsot bibimbap!

User

Really wanted to try this place when I heard about it. I ordered the kimchi cheeseburger and the bibimbap with pork added in to takeaway.

Both were still hot and tasted amazing by the time I got home. Very unique taste to both, with the bibimbap being nice and spicy. Both very flavourful overall. The staff were all nice and seemed to be very professional and courteous. I really hope it gets more popular and more items are added to the menu.

Kimchi cult hwaiting!!!!!

User

Popped in for a spot of lunch yesterday, and all I can say is “Wow”! We were lucky enough to get a table for two straight away and thinking I was John Torode I confidently ordered from the menu (We have never eaten Korean food before!) We ordered the fried chicken with Gochujang sauce, the Bibimbap with brisket, kimchi cheese fries and a cult salad. The food duly arrived after only a short wait. Every dish was fantastic. The hot sweet and sour crispy chicken was so tasty. Every mouthful of the bibimbap was a flavour sensation, the salad was so fresh, and kimchi chips were to die for!

As a whole, it was one of the best meals we have had. And it was such good value too. Would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely return when we are back in Glasgow.

User

Played the new Sophie album the whole way through, best eating experience in Glasgow by a long shot.

User

One of my favourite food places in Glasgow especially if you enjoy fermented cabbage presented in a multitude of different ways. The food here is excellent and different from most other places in the West End.

Definitely recommend trying this place out!

It was amazingggg! Service was excellent and the food was so tasty!!! Got the bulgogi brisket chips, bao buns with pulled pork and panko prawn, side of kimchi, pickled radish and the Korean fried chicken!! The garlic soy glaze was my favourite, however, the gochujang fried chicken was also amazing!! The pickled dikon was to die for!! First visit and will definitely be back!!!

User

I loved the food the music and the super friendly staff. Some of the best food I jave had in a long time. Will be back!

User

Great wee place, hidden gem in the West End, food great, really tasty and my 10 year old was happy with the spicyness as well so we'll be back, good buzz about the place and the staff were very helpful!

User

Glasgow likes fried stuff. But even in a town that has some seriously tasty fried bites their fried chicken is like Godzilla in a petting zoo. It's ridiculous. It's so good I have to hide my own shoes and scatter broken glass through the close to stop myself from running into their joint every night and smashing half a dozen portions straight into my face with both hands.

User

Fantastic food - had the bulgogi brisket bao and the cult salad. My friend had the Korean fried chicken, salad and fries, which, of course, I pinched! Friendly serviced and a relaxed vibe. Definitely recommended.

User

Came in today for lunch after a couple of recommendations. The bao was delicious, chips were brilliant but by far the best bit was the fried chicken. Honestly has to be the best fried chicken I remember having. Great stuff.

User

Always make Kimchi Kult a destination when in the West End. The food is so good I could spend all day in there. My quick favourite is the Bulgogi fries however they do the best chicken!

You won't be disappointed when you visit!

User

Absolutely loved this place, a true hidden gem. My boyfriend found this online and kept suggesting to go, we got round to going and loved it! Food was great, staff were very helpful and friendly and such a lovely little place. I would definitely recommend everyone to try it out!

User

Absolutely incredible place! If Facebook would allow it, I'd give them 10 stars! I love all Asian food, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean... you name it. The portion sizes were perfect, steamed buns the best I've ever eaten, the fried chicken was quite honestly astonishing (my girlfriend is a chef who's worked in some of the top michelin star restaurants in the country and she completely agreed with me on the chicken) as for the Kimchi... made perfectly! I've made my own and tend to like it at the point where it's almost gone to that sparkling fizzy stage but not quite. Some kimchi can be flat, dull and lifeless, not this stuff, it was perfect! This wee place is literally Glasgows hidden gem and a 100% must try! Thank you Kimchi Cult for filling us up with honestly stunning food after our long walk around the west end on a cold Glasgow afternoon.

User

Absolutely amazing food, great place with lovely friendly staff.Had rice with vegetables, kimchi and tofu (cant remember the name of the dish!) it was superb.I'll be back to try everything else on the menu, can't reccommend it enough!

User

Absolutely amazing food its my new lunch spot, if only there was one in shawlands aswell :)

User

A hidden treasure with lovely value for money. There are several vegetarian and vegan options. The food arrived quickly, and some lovely tunes were playing, too!

User
