Come and try our New Heverlee Beer at the "Canmore Vaults" !!!
“The origin of "Heverlee 4.8%” Living by the abbey motto, Ne Quid Nimis (life in balance), Heverlee delivers a perfectly balanced taste. We blend the subtle sweetness wrought by a malt and maize mash with the distinctly bitter aroma of Saaz - the world’s most expensive hop - to create a deliciously refreshing Belgian Pils style beer.

What a wonderful evening last night at The King Malcolm Hotel. "A Tribute to the Greatest Hits of Neil Diamond" was phenomenal! As soon as the opening bars of America began to play and Clark Stewart entered the room with all the glitz and glamour of showbiz royalty you could feel the electric atmosphere in the venue. Then followed hit after hit performed with a real feel for the man and his music. The crowd were itching to get onto the dance floor and join in this celebration of Neil Diamond. I succumbed too despite having worn 4 inch heels to the gig, the sore toes were well worth it. It is a long time since I have enjoyed an evening quite as much. A performer who is faultless at what he does, an enthusiastic and engaged audience who would have danced on all night and a lovely meal beforehand. I hope that this show is happening again soon because I will be first in the queue to buy tickets for the whole family. Simply a brilliant night out!

We went there for Christmas Day lunch the staff were very attentive and we always get a very warm welcome and the 3 course lunch was fantastic with choices on the menu and good sized portions for the mains this will be the third Christmas Day we have had lunch there and would highly recommend it.

User

We had our xmas dinner there . Food excellent, service was brilliant. The staff were so nice and helpful . The suite where we had our dinner looked amazing with lovely candelabra on tables and decorated beautifully. Such a lovely Xmas experience. Thinking if booking this year again x

We enjoyed a very good, freshly cooked Bar Lunch here today, the bar meals are very varied. Starters were "Mussels in a white wine sauce" "King prawns on a bed of salad vegetables, with ciabatta bread, the dressings were delicious, Frank enjoyed a very tasty steak pie with new potatoes, & seasonal vegetables. I thoroughly enjoyed a Chicken Stroganoff served with rice, both dishes were more than ample portions. We were served by a lovely waitress who was very welcoming & friendly. We would expect this 5 star service at the best hotels which does not always happen. If you want a delicious meal & service with a smile "The King Malcolm " is the place to go. 5 stars from us.

Was at party night on Saturday and was a really good night. Food was served piping hot and delicious it was. (Normally at party nights may I add not your hotel but other places most of the food is either Luke warm or cold ) so well done. It was my 1st time at being at King Malcolm for a party night and will certainly be back. So thank you Mike and all the staff for giving us a great night

Stayed for a weekend (rugby weekend) and from the moment we arrived till the very last minute we left everything was perfect. We arrived well before checking in time and as expected rooms not ready but within the hour after a fabulous breakfast we had our keys. Staff fantastic rooms brilliant with a bed to die for. Nice little bar on the side of hotel, the locals even let us watch the F1 :-). Would I stay again YES

Neil Diamond & Friends tribute act on and went with husband and 7 friends.

Well organised with buffet comprising of chicken curry, rice and nan bread, chilli con carne, rice and garlic bread and macaroni and cheese with chips; all homemade apart from nan breads. Mix and match and as much as you wanted to eat; really good. I only had the chicken curry with rice, chips (as homemade) and nan but my husband and friends had a mixture.

Tribute act on twice, first part mostly Neil Diamond and second a mixture from the 50's to 80's. Clarke was really good interacting with the audience and people up dancing while e sang.

Staff friendly which helps and in all a brilliant night with disco after the tribute act finished. Bars closed too early though at 11.45pm as disco still on and people were there. Apart from that would highly recommend especially at the price of £12 each; great value.

User

Lovely Hotel, all Staff & the owner are really very nice, pleasant, friendly & really very helpful, very nice food menu & food is 1st class, dogs are very welcome & treated as good as the guests.

User

It was great, the staff were all great and there was no problems at all with our two dogs. In fact the staff actively showed they liked dogs coming to stay. We would go there again.

User

I have nothing but praise for the Hotel and Staff. I have always stayed in this hotel when working in Rosyth and am greeted like a friend when I return. Recently my Wife and I stayed here with our two dogs. The dogs were spoilt by the staff when we left them for a couple of hours in the reception. The staff and the hotel are very personable which you do not get in other larger chain hotels. I always recommend the King Malcolm to all my work colleagues. Nigel Griffiths

User

Fantastic stay where the staff all exceeded our expectations. Took our puppy Ruby for her first hotel stay and I could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be going back. Big thank you to Michaela and all the team. Gold stars all the way xx

User

Fantastic night at one of your part nights last night. Food was spot on. Being coeliac it can be tricky eating out. But I was offered a great choice. Not a fruit salad in sight. Bar and waiting staff are a credit to you. Compliments to the chefs too

User

Attended a ruby wedding meal here yesterday and everything was lovely. The staff are fantastic and made us feel really welcome and the food was great!

User

User

User

Excellent hotel would highly recommend a visit a warm friendly welcome awaits you. Excellent service from all staff. The choice of menu is second to none ? I'm just back from a three day mini break with friends and we all agree a return visit is a must.

User

We were on a party night. The food was very mediocre and the room was very cool. We asked staff to turn the air on off but were told that it would get warmer when the dancing started. Not good enough.

The disco was good, playing

A good variety. We left early
