Spoke to a rep at this company and the guy was great and very informative.
I agree with Thomas Moffat. Chap comes to my mum's door and his first words were that this is not a sales call. I was listening in to the conversation. He then tells her that damp has penetrated the wall on the side of her house. Had my mum not HAD THE WORK DONE ONLY SEVEN DAYS AGO she may have been taken in, but instead this has clearly exposed high pressure sales tactics being used against the elderly. Amazingly, upon closer inspection of the damp he decided that it was not actually there at all. We will be reporting this to Clackmannanshire trading standards. In the meantime, please do not bother with a lame reply, companies like you are the scum of the earth preying on and ripping off the elderly. Do not come to our door again or you will be physically removed from our property.
