Kings Cafe (Permanently Closed)

Nice food... Pizza from Three in one next door.....

I have visited this place on three occasions as I like to give places a chance. However, each occasion had a problem. First occasion, the batter on the fish was soggy as it was sitting in the hot area. Second occasion, I sat and the waitress forgot my order. I would of understood this but the place is not busy. Third occasion, fish was completely cold. I saw the waitress put her hand on the fish to check if it was hot. She seemed to accept that it was adequate! If you like disappointment, this is the place.

Great lentil soup at an affordable price! It's a regular for me when I'm on the go.

Have visited The Kings Cafe several times on our last 2 trips to Glasgow. Its a great place. Very tasty meals, very good coffee and terrific staff, friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend the special fish supper. My boys love the porridge and maple syrup for their breakfast and the hot chocolate to finish. Coffee and French toast with bacon and maple syrup for me, its fab. Will visit again as its a terrific wee cafe with lots of character. Pay a visit, you`ll be glad you did.
