All of the notifications to those who have applied to be added to our visitors list for the Celtic Motherwell Cup Final on Saturday 19th have or should have received an email notification over the weekend.
The list has now been done and I cannot add any further names to it.

All of the Nominated Competitions need to be in for Tuesday 15th May as these competitions will be drawn. So that the Pairs, Triples and Fours.

Bit of a surprise today, phone call from a reporter Karen Goodwin of the Sunday Herald wanting to a piece on bowling clubs after the Commonwealth Games. Spend the afternoon with Karen who also interviewed some of the Members, plus bonus photographer coming tomorrow at 2.00pm, so ladies get your hair done in time. Only the bueatiful people will be on the green.

The visitor list filled up within 24 hours of the second semi final, so unfortunately the list is closed and we cannot add any further names to it, so please don't send in requests using another date.

Visitor list for 19th May Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Motherwell is filling up fast, will be closing the list shortly due to the numbers. Applications are taken is date order so once I reach the max number it will be closed off and date removed from the website. Plus please do not phone the Club, only web form accepted.

Great news from First Bus, the 7A, 74, 75 and 90 bus services will be back to normal on Friday 13th April, nicely timed for our opening and the football over the weekend. Well done Scottish Water and thir contractors.

The upcomming Scottish Cup Semi Finals on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April, space on Saturday but the Sunday we are full and no more visitors can be added to the list.

President Bob McGinty is proud to announce that he has a new Vice President for 2018. After Iain Kyle decided to be our Treasurer Bobby was left without a VP. But after some arm twisting ALAN BELLSHAW has stepped up to be the Vice President.

We are once again organising a leaflet drop in the Kingspark area to get new members into Kingswood. To do this the Committee needs help from the members. It's that time of year again, the notices are either in the club or in your inbox if you get emails from Kingwood concerning the Opening and Fees for 2018. Please remember to pick up you envelope at the Club or check your inbox for more information. As usual a Standing Order Form has been included for the 2019 Fees, plus Kingswood would like to update its members records so a form has been included for every member to complete.

The details of Jack Fearon's funeral are 10.00am at Christ of Kings in Carmunnock Road then to the Linn at approx 11.00am then returning to Kingswood Bowling Club. Sorry forgot to add the date, its Wednesday 14th

All I seem to do is write bad news on this page, more to come. It was announced that Jack Fearon had died yesterday afternoon. A long time member of Kingswood, he will be missed by many of the members. No details on the arrangements yet

The Indoor Challenge Game between the Glasgow Indoor and West of Scotland Indoor has been postponed due to the weather. Will post/email when the new date is arranged

The details of the Funeral of Kingswood long time member John Fenwick who passed away on Sunday 18th February, is Tuesday 27th February 4.00pm at the Linn then to the Kings Park Hotel.
