A 4-sheet ice rink dedicated solely to the sport of curling. Home to more than 30 curling clubs, including Scotland's oldest (Kinross - founded in 1668).
Kinross Curling Rink Description
Open 7 days a week through September to April.
Bookings can be made by individuals or groups; regardless of age, ability, or curling experience: Instructors are available at pre-arranged request, and equipment is available to borrow.
For beginners we host several types of introductory courses throughout the curling season, which will give you a taste for the game, and /or help you improve your skills.
If you enjoy the experience, why not join a club? There are many clubs based at Kinross Curling Rink, who will be more than happy to welcome new members. [See the NOTES tab below our cover photo for club information & contact details] .
Practice ice (for individuals or groups, with or without a coach) is regularly available, and throughout the curling season we host seminars, coaching sessions, and other events that are designed to improve your skills.
Between all the regular club games & numerous open competitions that we host throughout the season, you will find plenty opportunity to play as often and as competitively as you wish.

Phase 1 Building Update - Here are a few pics of the building so far. We have a new entrance but no door yet! The outer and inner walls are in place but still a bit to go before its habitable. #gettingthere #scottishcurling

BUTTON - we had some technical problems so I couldn't download the other photos of BUTTON on holiday. His adventures continued to the Laurel and Hardie Museum in Ulverston (where Stan Laurel was born) he had a lot of fun!
BUTTON went to Keswick for a boat trip yesterday on Derwent Water. He had to check the safety first then off he went on the boat round the lake.
BUTTON went to Lazonby outdoor pool yesterday had fun in the water and in the fountain then home to chill in the garden with the Chimera.
BUTTON is on holiday sharing a few pics of his trip to Cumbria. More updates as he visits the sights throughout the week.
As you all know we are currently in the process of building an extension to include a lift in our facility for disabled access to the bar area. Stuart Biegala is doing an amazing thing and running the Great Aberdeen Run on behalf of Kinross Curling, it would be greatly appreciated if everyone could go and donate. We are offering 7 sessions throughout the season on various areas of our sport. From Delivery to Sweeping and even an Introduction to Mixed Doubles!
The first of our sessions is on 21st September 2018 and this will cover Delivery- Balance & Alignment. This is a great session for anyone looking to be more consistent and enjoy their curling a lot more.

BUTTON - TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK DAY Button has had a fun day today as we couldn't go to the Curling Rink he went to Perth to Viridor to see how we dispose of all the electical goods taken to council sites. More details on the photos

Its BUTTON time - He has been to the House of Binns today and had a lovely time enjoying the history of the Dalyell family, then a walk up to the Tower folly and a rest among the flowers enjoyed the fantastic views and fun with the peacocks who were very beautiful.
Button has been busy this week...busy watching the World Cup and looking cute!
