After a bit of searching, we finally found the perfect fire for Kintail.. Its been well tried out by youngest daughter who occupied the cottage at Christmas.. Now its ready to warm our guests in 2018..

Our resident guests have carved these lovely Halloween pumpkins to keep Kintail safe over the spooky season!!! We'll done guys. :-D

Skelbo Forest Walk... With the weather getting a bit nicer youngest daughter suggested visiting the Sculpture Trail in Skelbo Forest. Just 15 minutes north of here we pulled into the carpark and started our walk. The path is well defined and quite easy to walk on. There are a couple of braes to tackle so that gave me a chance to try out my new walking poles.. What fun searching for the sculptures amongst the trees.. I won't post too many pictures. Got to leave some for you to discover yourselves.. 😀 suitable for all ages...

From woodland decking to summerhouse!!! Davids most recent project at Kintail has evolved!!

Now that the barbeque and patio have been successfully tried out it was time to start on the next project... What started out as a wee summer house in the corner of the top green is evolving into a lovely decked gazebo. The last of the summer sun hits this spot and will make it a great place to quietly relax and enjoy the sea view... A cheeky wee bottle of white wine is already chilling in anticipation of completion... 😉
