About Kirkcaldy 4 All

Kirkcaldy4all is an independent company and delivers projects that will benefit the town centre's local business community

Kirkcaldy 4 All Description

This is the facebook page of Kirkcaldy 4 All. Like us to be kept up date with news, events and offers from across the town!

Kirkcaldy4all is a Business Improvement District (BID) company. We operate within a defined area in the town centre and the businesses within its boundary vote to invest collectively in local improvements over and above those provided by Fife Council. It is a partnership arrangement where projects are worked on in collaboration to benefit the local economy and businesses.

I think a great idea for Kirkcaldy esplanade (promenade)

Would be Erecting a Central Pier like (Blackpool) and fill it with amusements themes complimenting the 100's of years of the links market? That would bring tourists to the area for sure

I love that K4A has the community at heart

Bill and his time have been great support to my business (Lifetime Photography) over the years. It's much appreciated! Rob

An amazing team of people helping you to help your business thrive....... and trying there hardest to turn Kirkcaldy high street around into the busy town centre it used to be. ...:)

User

Amazing organisation to help local businesses. I personally think it's very helpful...

User

Seem to pick and choose what businesses they prefer to put on their page which is understandable but a simple reply to buisness owners who are also trying to offer amazing deals & offers to the community is important, Who ever is running the page should follow the Fife press fb page as they reply instantly and go above and beyond to make sure the community notices the deals and offers in the area

Kirkcaldy town centre has been brought to its knees and in my opinion the bid team have helped

Members of the board are councillors who vote for the retail park expansion but don't think of their duties on the board and trying to fill the empty shops

We have many charity shops and a huge problem with seagulls followed by a very aggressive approach to parking tickets

Whilst the likes of dunfermline are thriving the big names are leaving and the bid team can't help !

Bid Levys are spent on ridiculous things like street furniture and sign posts when we should be trying to fill shops and concentrate on bringing people to shop in Kirkcaldy

I would certainly visit Kirkcaldy more if it wasn't for the organised group of pretending to be homeless people, they are even waiting as I come out of the car park rattling their cups with their clean shaven faces and clean finger nails, begging for money, whilst I want my grandchildren to see what true poverty is, I don't enjoy the questions they ask about these people when we walk through town. I'm afraid to say that I visit Dunfermline more these days, I used to love Kirkcaldy, I think this group of people are contributing to the demise of the shops, this post is not intended to hurt the lovely friendly Kirkcaldy people, just trying to point out why the footfall is maybe falling
