This makes me so happy π I absolutely love teaching kids to swim, seeing them come into the pool, a bit nervous and watching them gain confidence over time and enjoy themselves, then when the moment comes and they actually swim for the first time, the look on their little faces when they come up and realise 'actually, I can do this', Its a really beautiful thing to see and I'm very grateful i get to teach so many kids in this area β€ Emma
Make sure your kids learn to swim! It's so important, especially where we live when we are surrounded by so much water πββοΈ

We've had a number of water bottles left behind lately.....
NEW STOCK!
Now stocking the highly popular Aqua Sphere 'Kayenne' goggles! I've yet to hear anyone complain that they let water in and any child that wears them to our swimming lessons literally spends zero time fiddling with them during their lesson as they seem to be such a good fit!

Told you it was an impressive list! If you are using the pool or gym then the sauna only costs Β£1 extra! Why not consider adding it in as a regular to your self care? It's more than worth it β€

We have no swimming lessons on this week which means the pool is available for public swimming in the afternoons πββοΈπ
What's this? New equipment? π After the seat burst on our leg extension bench we decided to buy a shiny new one! Better than the last as this one has an adjustable seat which allows you to lie down and work your hamstrings
Here at Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool we are committed to reducing plastic waste. We ideally would like to move away from selling plastic bottled water (we still sell it at the moment). We have installed a cool water dispenser in reception so please feel free to refill your own bottles. However, we are a charity so a small donation would be greatly appreciated π
Pool water on course to be warm again by the morning (Saturday at 10am)
