What a wonderful place to just relax and enjoy some peaceful family time in gorgeous surroundings.
AMAZING
Just came home after the most wonderful week here! I searched the web for days to find the perfect place to stay and I was not disappointed. Even though it sleeps 8, it wasn't too big for just my husband and I (and our 2 dogs). There is so much to do in the local area, and just short drives away. We could have easily spent a second week without running out of things to do. The house was exactly what we wanted and wouldn't have changed a thing! We will absolutely be going back!!
We booked Kirkstone Lodge for an end of year work review, and decided we would pamper ourselves a bit too and Kirkstone didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the real log fire, the hot tub, the sauna, the well equipped kitchen, the power showers, the comfy beds with blackout blinds, the big TV and DVD, and the location which is really close to some great walks.
It was also great to have wifi and plenty of off road parking. Kirkstone offered us everything we needed and more and we look forward to returning sometime, or maybe trying one of the great looking other properties.
With HUGE appreciation for the hot tub and fire which were two of our non negotiables for where we chose to stay. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
