Eat from here every friday. Love it.

I'm giving the Kirkie Mahal 4**** based on previous experience over 20+ years when I found them to be very good.
However, I do see a complete change of staff now that I'm here for the first time in 6 months. I'll give a new review after I've had the full experience of the service and more importantly the food.
The prices are unbeatable.

Now that I've had my meal I can tell you that the 4****have not changed.

In a nutshell :
The service was good, Friday 5:00 , waited to collect for only 15mins .
As I said before, prices are unbeatable.
Most important, the food quality was great for the price and the quantity was very impressive.

I'll be back again more often.

It MAY have had a change of ownership and that could be the reason for earlier negative reviews.

I don't know what has happened but they have gone down hill in the past year. Used to be great service nice food and good staff. Now you can wait 20 mins just to order let alone get the food the staff seem ready for an argument and food is often cols. There is only so many 2nd chances you can give

This is about the fourth time we've order and yet again their mistakes let them down. Phoned to advise the order was wrong they kept me hanging for nearly 4 mins until i hung up. The food is decent but the inability to take a correct order and the lack of care when told the order is wrong really let this place down.

This used to be nice but has gone downhill. Got an order this evening pizza was burnt n greasy, cheeseburger was burnt and rubbery and the donner meat was swimming in grease. Won't be eating here again.

Nothing worse than a cold kebab, because he couldn't be bothered heating it through!

Service Was Outstanding The food was great too nice lunchtime menus and buffet option also . Very Freindly Staff .

Use the Kirky Mahal about once a month, always find the food fine whether it's delivered or we pick it up. Staff are pretty friendly when you go in, and the premises look clean and well kept.

Been going here for 20 years as its my local takeaway. Staff and premises have changed over the years but still high quality food in my opinion.

Ordered a meal deal. Made a point of specifically stating I wanted chicken chat and chicken curry. Order came and I was given chicken chasnay! How can you get it so wrong!?! Chicken curry came and ur a as rotten! Not to mention the rest of our meal ruined because of your mistake! Nan bread you could knock someone out with- poor service the whole thing should have been sent out fresh not just the messed up main! I will never be back!

Just got my first order from there is 5 years. I know remember why I don't go there. Terrible portion sizes and over inflated prices. Better going to brasserie or up to real spice in stepps
