we just got our daughters 21st birthday cake and it was amazing , it was in the shape of a handbag and a pair of shoes , when the owner of the restaurant brought the cake to the table everyone was amazed to find out it was a cake , the worst bit was having to cut it up and eat it , but it tasted lovely , it was truly a work of art from a very talented woman .

Words cannot describe how exceptional my sons first birthday cake and naming ceremony cake were - the Star Wars themed cake was absolutely fantastic - made to perfection and tasted delicious.... the Yoda cake was a work of art - to the extent that many friends and family wouldn't believe me that he was a cake - they thought he was a figurine. We became so fond of Yoda and his many compliments over the weekend that we didn't have the heart to eat him... so with us he remains in the hope we can bring him out every year until our son is 18!! Thank you Kokoro for what were the most special cakes I have ever seen �

This lady is one very very talented lady. I ordered a surprise groom's cake for my husband at our wedding and he loved it. From booking to pick up Kokoro was great and advised and made a very very beautiful cake can't recommend her enough she is amazing.

The tea party theme cake was of such a high standard that it looks like it's straight out of a glossy magazine. Communication to get details just right were very good and was such a shame to cut the cake but took off the back so the look wasn't spoilt. Would highly recommend, very talented. Many thanks

When I asked Kyoko to make my wedding cake I knew it would be special but not out of this world special! I also couldn't decided at the cake tasting which flavour, I decided to do all 3 flavours that she brought! Chocolate, lemon and carrot! Each and every flavour was delicious! My guests couldn't believe how delicious the cake was! Our cake was just beautiful and it really was a special part of our wedding! Kyoko I cannot thank you enough �

I was recommended Kokoro Cakes when I knew I wanted a special birthday cake created for my pal Rebecca. I quickly got intouch with Kokoro and gave her a rough idea of what I was looking for, we discussed a wee bit further and she patiently listened, such a bubbly personality!. I ended up on deciding for a combo of two themes, Pocahontas (childhood fav Disney film:D) on the top tier then a Frozen one on the bottom with a choco peanut butter flavour but also a plain butter cream & jam. It looked amazing, and tasted absolutely delicious!. Needless to say Rebecca was delighted with it!. Thank you soo much Kokoro, you were soo helpful!. Xx

I bought a birthday cake for my mums 50th from Kokoro Cakes and I am SO happy with it! Kyoko was so patient and lovely to chat to throughout the whole process. I sent over a few pictures and explained to Kyoko that my mum loves sewing and is a big Cath Kidston fan and she just took it from there. The patchwork quilt design on the bottom tier is stunning and the detail is unreal and Kyoko made sure that every sewing related object that was going on the top of the cake was something that my mum uses. I can't praise the detail enough! I'll be recommending Kokoro Cakes to everyone and I am just so so so happy with the cake! Thank you again!
