Thought kwik fit were really good when I first took out my policy with them. Not any more. Renewal notice came through a few days before policy ended and letter said that unless they heard otherwise they would automatically renew between 2 & 5 days before the policy ended. 5 days before I rang to say that I had received better quotes and could they match them only to find that the money had already been taken including for optional extras I had not wanted. I asked for an immediate refund to my credit card account and was told it could take up to 5 days to get this back. By giving them a sort code and number they were prepared to return my money to a current account which would be by close of business but this meant I ended up paying for 2 lots of insurance on my credit card running the risk of maxing it out. I am appalled that they can automatically take money so long before the policy expires and £80 extra for services I don't want without my agreement. Anyone currently with Kwik fit BEWARE!

Terrible customer service, wanted to charge £75 per month more just because I moved house.... And have sit on hold for more than 30mins plus before somebody answers!

I would like to know how you justify renewing my policy 25% higher than what you offer to new customers online? And also higher than the previous years that I have been a customer? This is shame full KwikFit, tut tut.

Hi ya could some 1 please contact me been waiting now 6 weeks for my no claims proof nothing can't get hold on phone busy busy busy. Lol. Need ASAP

Can anyone explain why my policy has been automatically renewed without my consent. Why my premium has more than doubled since last year and more importantly why if I use a comparison website you are quoting a premium 1/3rd of the premium you are trying to charge me - I think the ombudsman may be interested in this.
