Kypehall is situated in central Scotland, providing professional showjumping training with Alex Barr. We can develop and tailor a package which suits you.
Kypehall Farm Description
Kypehall Farm is located in Central Scotland, only a 40-minute drive from the English Border, a 20-minute drive from Glasgow Airport, and 45-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, so it is ideal for anyone planning a visit.
Facilities at Kypehall include premium stabling for 25 horses with rubber matting, wash bays and solarium, an indoor arena (60mx30m with a quality Andrews Bowen surface), a large outdoor lunging area, grass training field, horse walker with rubber flooring, ample individual turnout and some lovely riding pathways where horses can relax and just take in the scenery after their days work.
Alex welcomes those who wish to base themselves at Kypehall for any period of time. He can accommodate both the rider and the horses, provide training and arrange shows. Morris, Ingliston and, SNEC are all within a 45 min drive.

Great to see HBF Delmar doing a great job in Lier last week with James Smith . This mare ( Double Up x Indoctro) was purchased by us as a 2 year old from HBF Stud and sold as a 5 year old . She was bred in Scotland , produced in Scotland and now has one of Scotland’s top riders taking her to the top level we are sure!⭐️#supportbritishbreeders
A fantastic reference for us here with Diva HBF (2012 Mare ,Double Up x Arkansas) purchased by us from HBF Stud as a 2 year old and sold to Laurie Bryce as a 5 year old . Since begging my training with Alex my riding has improved massively along with my confidence. He takes time to understand the type of rider you are and the horse you are on and will adapt the training method appropriately. He is extremely patient and has a very calm manner when teaching. At shows Alex is more than happy to lend a hand;walking the course, warming up or even just to watch your round and provide feedback. Alex's has provided me with the ability and confidence to move up a level, I can't recommend his training highly enough!
Kypehall is a professional run friendly yard with fantastic facilities for both horse and rider. Since moving down with my horse at the end of April I've enjoyed every minute with all our needs being met. Alex has worked hard bringing me and my horse on, now starting to jump bigger tracks and achieve goals. Being in such a central location makes getting to shows on a regular basis very easy. Highly recommend Alex and team.
