Hi Everyone, well we're approaching the last weekend at La Bodega. I don't have any events programmed in but we know there were folks who wanted to do a set at the Farewell Do and never got a chance. So let us know if you'd like to do a last set at La Bodega. You can pm me or message us here. (Alexis has lost his phone so contact me if you're trying to get hold of him). We will still have the last of the Raspberry Jams on Tuesday 29th so please come and join us for that as well. Cheers Karen x

Happy New Year to you all. We are back open on Friday 4th January 2018 at 12.30pm. It will be a busy month ahead and we're still putting events together. Very emotional for us and all the staff and regular customers - thanks to everyone who has messaged and posted on FB with such lovely comments and wishes for our future. We've been very blessed with being surrounded with wonderful people - many of whom we would never have crossed paths with were it not for the Bodega and t...he Dance studios. A new chapter for us coming up but until then if you have never made it down to La Bodega or the Dance Studios do it now - it has been a legend in the making so make sure you get at least a taste of it. There will be a farewell party (in fact January could turn into one big farewell party - we don't usually need an excuse so it's going to be a blast) Info will be going up on the events page as soon as we have details confirmed.
Please note we're no longer taking bookings via Opentable so please call us direct 0141 581 3401 or email us on info@labodegaglasgow.com

awesome restaurant & venue, the staff are amazing, check out the dancing barman Glasgow's answer to Fred Astaire :)

User

What a brilliant hidden Glasgow gem!!!!! Played there last night with our band Catfish Blues. Really cool vibe, friendly staff and fantastic Spanish tapas!! Host Alexis has clearly put a lot of effort into the live music sound quality side and both the band and our fellow musician pals who came along, all reckon it's the best we've heard in a pub/restaurant venue. Great patrons too, engaging and up dancing including some amazing dancers who attend the dance studio activity in the venue. All in a great place and night! . Hope we'll be back but regardless I'll be back with family and friends for the great vibe and brilliant food. Superb!! Strongly recommend it to all tapas and/or live music fans!! Graham J.

User

The best hidden gem in Glasgow, great food, great music, great atmosphere and absolutely fantastic staff, love love love this place xxxx

User

People talk about hidden gems ... La Bodega is certainly one of them. Atmosphere was fab staff so friendly and the tapas was excellent, Reminded me of the bar in Spain that you walk into not expecting anything too special but it becomes the best bar of the holiday. Can't believe it has been there 11 years and I had never ventured in before. We look forward to many more visits going forward.๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป

One of the very few genuinely interesting and surprising places left in Glasgow, where you can hear some really cool new stuff from little known performers. Great tapas, eclectic crowd and a great atmosphere too. It reminds me of wee bars I've found in Barcelona.

User

User

Best bar , best people , lovely food , 1st time out in 2years without the babies and the guys made our night memorable ๏ฟฝ highly recommended , Alexis the owner is a lovely guy and his staff couldn't have been more lovely and fun ๏ฟฝx

User

An unexpected surprise! Try it, you wonโ€™t be disappointed. Like a little bit of Spain. Authentic tapas, good prices and a really relaxed atmosphere.

User

An amazing, unassuming little place tucked away in an industrial area serving top-quality tapas and with friendly, helpful staff in very bohemian surroundings. Will definitely be back!

User

Quite hard to find, but oasis in the area. There to see a band. It looks like it is close to docks, and possibly of historic interest. Very rustic inside, possibly used to store tea/tobacco in historic times. There were a lot of us and we drank the beer dry! Could do with two beer fonts, optics for the spirits to speed up service. The tapas food was really tasty and well presented. We had a fun night here. Not far from the bus stop on main road, but a wee walk.
