We have been frequent visitors to Lossiemouth and always have lunch at la caverna and are never disappointed .
Super place for a coffee and cake, a lovely meal or alcoholic drinks, in amazing setting overlooking east beach
Phoned and only gave them 15mins warning to book us in if we could have Afternoon Tea. What a delightful surprise, we had excellent service and when ever we needed anything the waitress was there to cater for us. She was wonderful and so was the food and cakes we were served. Would return in a heartbeat if I lived in the area, but will revisit the next time I go to Lossiemouth. Excellent value too.
Nice, prompt service, great food and fair prices in a good ambiance. The only constructive remark I have is I really think you should have sweet white wine available (every good restaurant has).
La Caverna has kind of grown as Ive grown. Our haunt as teenagers in Lossiemouth has become a wonderful, friendly, restaurant. The food is excellent, locally sourced and served in a fantastic setting. Love you Caverna.
I went to La Caverna yesterday and there was 8 of us and I am the only one who suffers with Coeliac Disease and I asked if chips were cooked in separate fryer but got told they were not so I thought oh what will i have, the usual baked potato!!! I told a member of staff i had really fancied the Gammon and chips so she went and spoke to chef, chef offered to make home made chips and cook in a separate pan. I was highly delighted about this. My meal came and it was lovely, the chips were so good. I felt the staff and chef went out of their way to cater for someone suffering from Coeliac Disease. I will definitely be going back.

Fabulous meal, great service and a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend the Cullen Skink risotto....however, be prepared to not be able to finish it! Will definitely revisit on our next journey to Lossiemouth!

Eat here often,usually on a Sunday at lunch time.Food is always good,large menu and the girls are pleasant and helpful,one of our favourites in Moray .
