Lairg Highland Hotel
Reviews
A great cosy hotel with great food and very friendly staff. It's a short walk to anywhere in Lairg and well worth a visit. The meals are great and it is quiet , so don't rush. There are rooms to suit any budget and you can book online. The bar is well stocked to suit any taste.
There is little in this part of the world that is open on a Sunday, so we were pleasantly surprised that this hotel served decent food on the Sunday that we stayed. staff seemed stretched at times but this is normal for small hotels in the Highlands.
Nice, small and cosy hotel, with great food. Lots of parking out front, but the town itself is very quiet.
Warm welcome. Room was lovely and food was very good. Good value for money.
Sunday 25th June. Cycled across from Ullapool, cold, wet and windy....typical Scottish summer weather...I love it. Have passed the hotel on many occasions without stopping, but this was the only place open on Sunday lunchtime. First impressions are underwhelming.
Never judge a book.....my wife had a delicious toasted rarebit snack, and I devoured a superior burger with cheese and ham topping. The best was yet to come. Sticky toffee pudding...as reviewer Mark Ellis commented upthread...worth travelling for.
Coffee very good. We were well looked after, thank you.
Lovely location in the highlands. Good staff and nice fresh food. Rooms nice with decent beds
Nice hotel highly recommended
