A wonderful exhibition, only 20 minutes drive from the Cottage. This wonderful event is on tour from The Fashion and Textile Museum in London and provides the opportunity to view vintage garments from Picasso to Warhol. End of our 1st Summer.... our lovely guests have walked, cycled, visited Castles and beautiful Scottish Gardens. They've mountain biked and zip lined in Glentress, relaxed in Stobo Castle, enjoyed the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Festival. Others have loved New Lanark World Heritage Centre and those with children have visited Purves Puppet Theatre in Biggar, the Science Centre in Glasgow and visited East Links Farm Park (Dunbar) and Mabie Farm Park (Dumfries). Others have helped with some farm labour 🐑 ! Fingers crossed for more fun and sunshine 😊

We could not have had a nicer time in Scotland! The scenery at Lammerlaw is breathtaking and the cottage is comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location was perfect for our trips exploring Edinburgh, Linlithgow, Stirling and Glasgow. Really enjoyed the Bigger Museum & the puppet theater and our day at Linlithgow Palace was fantastic.



We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

We are now in January 2018 and our stay was August 2017 and our three boys still ask everyday when we can go back! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, Danielle is so thoughtful ! It is all the little personal touches that make a lasting dent on your heart. Our boys loved the football pitch Robert made for them out in the field. Our only negative is that we had wished we had booked to stay longer � ! Lovely cottage, immaculate and spacious. Amazing views and a really wonderful location. We can’t wait to return this year

Una maravilla. El cottage era perfecto, limpio, cómodo y con todo lo necesario. Danielle y Robert no pueden ser más agradables y siempre pendientes que no faltase de nada. Nos recibieron con una cesta repleta de comida hecha en las granjas de la zona. Estuvimos tres semanas viviendo allí y nos hubiésemos quedado muchas más. La decoración, todos los utensilios, las estancias, todo es perfecto. Totalmente recomendable.

Perfectly suited our family. Warmly welcoming. All the amenities we needed, tasteful decor, spotless and well appointed. Located in proximity to many attractions especially the fantastic Biggar Puppet Theatre - Home of Purves Puppets and the world heritage site at New Lanark. Beautiful views! We'll definitely be back.
