Well done to John Shanks, the young Highland Games sportsman we are proud to sponsor. In the Blairgowrie and Rattray Highland Games at the weekend, he came 1st in the weight for distance with a personal best of 58 feet 2 inches, 2nd in the shot put, 2nd in the caber and 2nd in the hammer. A really successful weekend!

Another adventure from our favourite pair, celebrating the launch of new premium Land Rover Pet Packs. Congratulations to John Shanks, who we are proud to sponsor as he starts his junior Highland Games career. Another good weekend for John at the Strathardle Gathering, coming 2nd in the Caber, 2nd in weight for distance, 2nd in hammer and 3rd in shot put. It's great for us to be able to support this young man, and he is doing so well in his first competitive season.

Gotta love a vintage Land Rover! Normally we are all about new Land Rovers and Range Rovers but we were very proud when our vintage Landy won the post-1945 vehicle section at the Strathardle Highland Gathering at the weekend.

Land Rover has embarked on an unexpected expedition to preserve the precious African rhinoceros and its habitat by joining an urban rhino trail across London. A gleaming Land Rover rhino model, embellished by Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer Gerry McGovern, made its debut in central London in the latest collaboration of a 15-year relationship with Tusk.
The unique 1.2m-long rhino sculpture was towed into Trafalgar Square in support of the Tusk Rhino Trail, to aid conservatio...n projects for the endangered species. The initiative involves 21 sculptures donated and decorated by leading figures from the worlds of art and design installed at prominent locations across the capital.
Here in Perthshire, our local "wildlife" trail features 80 giant, individually designed penguins all around Dundee and Perth, to raise awareness and money for Dundee's Maggie's Centre, providing support for people with cancer. We were lucky enough to experience the half day off road driving and I can honestly say it was superb!



Firstly we were greeted by a member of staff who turned out to be David our instructor who was great, really patient and gave great instruction and information.



The reception staff were also incredibly attentive greeting both of us with big smiles and the offer of tea or coffee.



We've left flabbergasted at what our car can actually do! We will definitely be back and this time we want to do a full day in the mud or snow. Truly fantastic morning in a beautiful part of the world with fantastic staff and to top it off I saw my first red squirrel.

We spent an fab afternoon with Trish learning to capabilities of the Range Rover Velar From hills that you can't imagine going up or down to tipping the car onto two wheels. We'd highly recommend Land Rover Experience Scotland as a great thing to do whilst in Perthshire

We had a full day in the Discovery and it didn't disappoint � my husband and i can't thank our amazing instructor David enough for giving us and the kids an amazing experience. He was very patient, great at explaining what we were doing and great fun! All staff were very welcoming and the lunch was great too. A special thanks to the lovely lady who presented us with certificates at the end of our day, our daughter Madi and Mr Ted were delighted with theirs! � we would definitely recommend this experience to our family and friends. Visited for a half day experience in the Discovery 5 with Lucy. Had an excellent visit! 3 of us had taken part in the experience and Lucy tailored the morning for our needs. All the staff were extremely friendly and the cup of tea before we started was most appreciated. Location and facilities were superb. The course itself was amazing and well kept. Lots of different obstacles to really showcase the cars capabilities. I'm gutted that we couldn't get our dates to line up with a full days experience, but I'm sure I will be back for one soon. Definitely worth the money if you want to know more about these cars and what they are capable of. 5/5!!

Spent a half day in the Discovery 5 under the watchful eye of Conal. Fantastic experience and brilliant instruction. From the lunch, to the drive and the setting, it was an utterly brilliant day. My wife and I both had a great time driving the car off road even though she was a bit apprehensive about doing it, but keeps telling me how much she enjoyed it and how she is so glad she decided to have a drive. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I have just enjoyed a full days training here on Friday 20th July. I thought I’d bought a bit of a show pony car - an Evoque - but how wrong was I!

Greeted by the lovely Chloe we felt welcomed straight away.

The amazing Hamish was our instructor for the full day and by the end we both felt we fully understood the real capabilities of the car and felt confident we could drive it in all weathers. Neither of us could say this had we not spent the day here. I certainly never thought I could drive the car in The terrain we did. Thanks for ensuring we saw deer, rabbit, hawk & chickens (!!) in the afternoon. What a treat.

Lunch was fantastic!

All in all a real 5� experience. Can’t wait to come back!

It was great fun to be able to test the new Disco with a knowable instructor, Tricia, which also had a great sense of humor.



Coming from Norway we are used to snow and ice. But steep hills with gravel and sand was a challenge.



All together a great time. Now I want to learn more about the capabilities of the car �

I visited today for Lantra 4x4 training for my work.

The course was brilliant, the trainers are great and really know their subject. Nice balance of classroom and practical. Having never really had to use a 4x4 in anger before I now feel comfortable taking on most of the trails my work is likely to take me down. Oh and lunch was excellent!



Would highly recommend and would love to go back just for fun.
