The #TreeTopTrail is a great place to catch a glimpse of a red squirrel. This one was spotted having a quick bite to eat earlier on in the week. Has anyone else had any recent encounters in the park?

Come and join the team at the Butterfly House at 3pm to meet the newest members of the Landmark Family! During these sessions you will get the chance to handle Giant Prickly Stick Insects and Giant African Millipedes. You will also get to learn about our Giant African Fruit Beetle and watch our colony of Leaf-cutter ants in action.
Giant Prickly Stick Insect (Extatosoma tiaratum): The Giant Prickly Stick Insect is from Australia and New Guinea. This species of stick insect lo...oks more like a cactus than a twig. The difference between adult males and females is huge. The females have a bulky and thick body, reaching a size of 15cm long. They have lots of spines and lobes on their legs. The males are really slender, have little spines and reach a size of 12-13cm. The adult males have long wings and are able to fly whereas the female’s wings are very small. It’s docile by nature and generally only move during the night. Its amazing defence strategy is to mimic a scorpion. Predators usually do not take the risk. Although the Giant Prickly Stick insect is harmless.
Giant African Millipede (Archispirostreptus gigas): These docile giants are commonly found in areas of dry savanna in East Africa and South Africa. Adult millipedes can grow up to 12 inches long and have a life expectancy of 7-10 years. Despite their name ‘Millie’ – Thousand, ‘pede’- feet, Millipedes do not actually have a thousand legs – they usually have between 100 - 400. In their natural habitat, they eat damp or decaying wood and leaves.
Giant African Fruit Beetle (Chelorrhina Polyphemus): These beetles live in tropical Africa. Males become bigger than females and have an antler on their head. The eggs and grubs of these beetles can be found in the soil. The grubs stay underground and eat rotten fruit and decomposing leaves. The adult beetles eat fruit. From egg to beetle takes about 4-6 months, and an adult beetle will live for 2-5 months

Looking to take advantage of this fantastic spell of weather we've been having? 🌞 Well, check out this option from our neighbours, the Carrbridge Hotel, who are located just across the road. #Carrbridge

User

Due to the recent spell of hot weather, our Fire Risk Status has been elevated to Highest Possible Risk. As a result of this there will be strictly no smoking or naked flames permitted anywhere within the park - including car parks. Smokers should use the temporary designated smoking point behind the welcome sign to left of reception entrance. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.

User

User

This park is just fabulous for a family day out. It’s not too big to walk round yet there’s lots to see & do init. Quirky rooms in the forest garden huts which were (ramped to get into aswell) they were amazing great fun. For me & Lucy the steep water slide & the train were a big no no😱😱 but enjoyed the rest. The wee car race tracks were fun for Lucy & the maze was also fantastic it’s huge! But wheelchair accessible too 👍 the bamboozeleum was a brilliant finish to the day too it’s well thought out. 🤪💖😊

User

Lovely place with lots to do and not a single fruit machine in sight, which is a massive plus for me. Should have more active places like this one. My kids, 8 and 15, enjoyed aerial/climbing activities and water slides. I loved Butterfly world, Treetops walk and a Fire tower - what a view from up there!

User

Loved it although very cold but to be expected at this time of year will really be a great place to visit in better weather boys loved the whole experience..was first time there will defo be back in summer

User

Just back after a great weekend. What an amazing place. So much to see and do for kids and big kids. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The water slides were my favourite. Oh and the weather helped aswell. Will def be back soon.

User

It was a great day.my teenage daughter is autistic so we went in the morning to see how she got on.she enjoy it. as it was outside plenty wide open spaces.not crowded plenty activities for her to enjoy.nice cafe (open space) staff were excellent. Very supportive offered us a membership for rest of the season £8 .as she has a disability just need to take dla attachment with us. BRILLIANT.

User

I have always loved landmark it’s a fabulous well organised park with lots to do young and old alike , I would like to say a special thanks to them for the donation of a family pass for a raffle I will be holding during a fundraising day for pancreatic cancer uk, it meant the world to me open the mail today and finding it there , than you soo much x

User

Had a great day with family and friends here yesterday. Arrived at 10am for it opening and didn't leave till 5pm. Loads to do for the kids (& adults) and great that there is an area to take your own picnic.

Only small dislike was toilets. They didn't smell too good but see there is a new block being built which should help. Understand that this was probably due to volume of people going through them on a hot day.

Will definatly be doing an annual pass for us next year

User

Had a fantastic day out! Especially enjoyed the tipsy turbulence room and vortex tunnel! Had a shot on all the main rides with the wild water coaster being the best! Shame we were not there longer as we missed out on the butterfly house. Food was reasonably priced too. All in all a fantastic day out!

User

Had a fantastic day here on the 22 July with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We had an absolute ball! There was loads for kids of all ages, and for adults too. Entry prices were reasonable and excellent value given that once u were in you could access any of the activities as many times as u liked. They also stamp your hand on entry and allow you to leave the park and come back in if needed later on in the day. This place is well worth a visit. Only thing that I would add is a locker area would be a great addition to store bags, although the fact that u can go out to your car and come back in means this isn’t a huge problem

User

Fantastic place no matter your age, so much to see & do you can literally spend all day here and the kids will never get bored.

Such great value for money and everyone leaves with a big fat smile on their face (knackered)

Plenty of red squirrels to see and the butterflies are beautiful.

A great place to keep the kids happy...Top marks.

User

Fantastic family day out today with our kids aged (10 & 13)

So much to do and definitely worth a visit. I can't believe we've never been before until now. Us big kids loved it and there is so much to do for the whole family. The glorious weather made it that little bit more enjoyable too! Friendly helpful staff too!

User

Fantastic day on Tuesday with my boys aged 9 & 11. In the park from 10:30 to 3 and we were kept occupied all day. Loads to do, well thought out and the whole park was kept very tidy & well managed.

User

Two years since we bought a season ticket. Great value for money our grandkids loved it. Plenty of entertainment for them. My grandson was delighted as he is now tall enough for roller coaster. Weather was good.

Would be useful if they had an area inside the grounds for lockers so we could put bits in.

Staff friendly and helpful.

User

Our grandson (Seweryn) was spending his 7th birthday with friends at the park. Half an hour in he had an accident and had to be taken to Raigmore hospital, Inverness to have his injured knee stitched. The staff at the park were very quick to respond and deal with the matter. One member of staff in particular, Jill, who works in the restaurant, was amazing, she helped us out when we were not quite sure what to do with the party lunch and the kids that were left behind. A big thank you goes to her from us. We are hoping to be back once the knee is better as we all love the park. Thank you again for all your help.

User

Landmark has changed a lot from the last time we were there.

There is a mix of activities for all ages...from the indoor Bamboozleum, full of optical illusions , techno illusions allowing interactions by all and the huge array of outdoor activities. There is the treetops walk through the woods....there are little stations made up of activities associated with forestry work.

New to me was the tree top walks on suspended planks through the trees!

The sky dive is a sure test of nerve. In safety harness you climb high up a tree trunk to a platform where you step off into mid air and desend with the help of counter weight .

Climbing frames and Ant house play keeps the wind out of the kids sails and the water boat slide is a winner.

I didn't see the run away train roller coaster however if it's as good as the rest it's a winner too.

The cafe is good , serving typical meals.

Staff are kind and helpful. Prices seem steep however the activities are all included.

Allow a whole day to get money's worth.

Need I say ? It's Scotland....pack rain wear and sturdy footwear.

User

It was good overall and would go back on a dry day, it was pouring with rain when we went. Lots for our 8 year old to do but not much for an eager 3 year old of average height, all rides/activities the smallest height was 1.1m. So a bid disappointing on that front.

User

Quite expensive if you don't have kids that will use all the facilities. If you just want to visit the butterfly House, it costs a lot for just that...

User

A cracking place! However we went today and all the outdoor sections were closed due to ice. I feel this could have easily been prevented, and was a little disappointed as the ice/snow wasn't at all bad and if some staff spent just half an hour with a bag of grit the park could've been mostly open to the public today. I understand as a company pin pointed around children you have to make sure things are safe and nobody will slip and get hurt. However I do feel on days like today the guys could've gritted and cleared the ice rather easily and would've made a good day great. Just wanted to leave a review and hopefully is noticed so maybe in the future, future area closures wouldn't be necessary. Thank you
