Lands Of Loyal Hotel

First time visit at Lands of Loyal today which was a truly unique and wonderful experience, really enjoyed the delicious home baked scones and coffee by the roaring fire which crackled away in spectacular Victorian/Edwardian splendour. Appreciated the total peace & tranquility. Def return soon xx

We booked this hotel for a relaxing night away and that is exactly what we got. We stayed in the coach house and the decor was in keeping with the 'olde worlde' character of the house. We had lots of room to chill out and the beds were extremely comfortable. The food served for our evening meal was exceptional, as was our breakfast the following morning. All staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. All in all this was exactly the relaxed short break we were looking for and will definitely return.

A unique Scottish gem, the entrance hall is without a doubt the most spectacular I have ever seen. Family run business and the staff are very friendly.

Went here for dinner one evening unaware of the type of place that it is. You get there and have to sit in an awkardly quiet and dim lounge, drink orders are taken and you sit having your drinks and then order you food. Once food is ready you're taken to your table by overly polite and formal staff. The food was very good, typically Scottish menu of meat and veg but all very well executed. Overall the food was cracking but the atmosphere was dated and somewhat reminiscent of a murder mystery environment.

It's a hidden gem in a lovely hillside. The place is like stepping back in time to enjoy a fantastic meal that's ultra modern. You will never forget this place.
