Langlands Golf Club

Langlands has once again entered the Lanarkshire Knockout Cup, and we are looking for players to represent us in this competition. Please reply to this post if you are interested in taking part, or add your name to the notice that will be posted in the clubhouse.
Full details of the draw are still to be confirmed.

We are looking for players to represent Langlands in this year's Daily Mail Foursomes competition. Please reply if you'd like to be considered to take part. A notice will also be posted on the clubhouse noticeboard.

At Thursdays AGM the Committee of Management proposed an increase in the clubs annual fees of £10 for Ordinary members and £5 for Seniors, the first increase in our fees for several years. The primary reason for this was the SGU affiliation fee increase which was introduced in 2019.
The Committee also proposed a £20 bar/kitchen levy which members can use in the clubhouse.
Both proposals were passed by the voting members in attendance; all members will therefore receive their fees renewal request with these revised amounts in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks to all members who attended last nights AGM. A full update of the resolutions passed will be posted shortly.
The meeting also marked the occasion of John Beaton standing down as Club Secretary and Treasurer. John has fulfilled many roles within the Club over the years, including Match Secretary and Captain.
As a token of our appreciation for his many years of service to the Club , outgoing Captain Tommy McDermott presented John with an engraved decanter.
... Its hard to overstate the importance of John's role in guiding the Club through many difficult financial periods in its recent history. His hard work and dedication have ensured we have a club that we can all enjoy today.

We held a Golf Tournament to raise funds for REACH Lanarkshire Autism to raise funds for children with Autism.

The service we recieved was fantastic and we would definatly hold an event again .

This was our 1st of many visits i think,, considering the weather we've had lately the fairways & green's were in great condition It was just unfortunate the weather caught up with us on the back 9 today

Played this course many times and loved it , haven't played for about 8 years now as I don't have the time but recommend a visit to this course , a warm welcome you will receive

Just had my son's 30th party here, and it was a brilliant night. The staff were all very helpful. Will definitely be back.

Had the Boogie Nights Halloween Disco there last night and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful too
