Lateral Lab

Lateral Lab is a cultural trust supporting contemporary creative responses to the environment through an eco-centric spirit of exploration, collaboration and public engagement. Lateral Lab supports young artists and architects and runs a residency programme for young artists from Scotland and Japan. Our first published edition A2B was launched in June 2015. The Trust has been instrumental in initiating interest in West Ward, Dundee, as potential site for international contemporary culture. Lateral Lab relies on project funding to deliver schemes. Money raised is used to fund work with artists; Lateral Lab members give their time voluntarily. Lateral Lab is a Scottish charity SC043880
