Some pics from our Russian course yesterday. The girls spent the morning practicing lash fans before the models came in at lunch time. This is Gemma’s model Nicola 💖 With Russians the girls practice making fans from individual lashes. The fan is then applied to the lash creating a fuller mega volume look! This takes lots of practice and you’ll never pick up speed or perfect your technique completely on the day but as you can all see Gemma did an amazing job! If you want to come on our Russian course you’ll need to have first of all completed a course in classic lashes as this technique is way more advanced for a beginner. We have lots of enquiries going though the page about our up and coming courses for lash training so we thought it would be good to answer some common Q&A here 💭
How long does your course take ❔
Anya is offering a flexible approach to training depending on the experience of the client. Generally these will be either a 1 day or a 2 day course but our main aim is to have you walking away feeling confident and comfortable with your new skill. If you need to come back for shadowi...ng that is not a problem.
Are your courses certified ❔
Anya is a fully qualified beauty therapist and offers courses accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. Electronic copies of certificates are available upon completion of your course and paper copies are £15 plus VAT.
How much theory do I need to do ❔
Prior to your course date you will be sent instructions on how to access our training portal where all theory will be completed. Allowing us to focus on practical techniques on the day of the course.
Where does the training take place ❔
All training will take place at Anya’s Beauty. The address can be found on this page under info.
Do I need to bring lunch ❔
Lunch will not be provided however there are cooking facilities on site. Teas and coffees will be provided.
Will I be insured ❔
Candidates are insured during the course under Anya’s Beauty Academy however you will need insurance to practice work on your own clients. We are happy to advise you about this on the day.
How much are your courses ❔

Do you need to pay a deposit ❔
Yes. This is usually a £100 deposit to secure your place on the course. This is non refundable.

Meet Gemma 💖. As a successful make up and brow jam artist Gemma wanted train in lashes so that she could offer clients more options. Gemma initially completed a 2 day course with Anya for classic lashes along with some shadowing back in September and she has been practicing her skills non stop since then. In December Gemma officially became self employed and is loving every minute of it and her lash technique is on 🔥. We love sharing success stories! Keep your eyes peeled for more coming soon 💫

We are really excited to be working behind the scenes at the moment on Anya’s Training academy. Anya has 10 + years of experience in the industry and our aim is to be able to pass on her knowledge and skills in the best way that we possible can. We are currently working on something really exciting which will allow students to complete the most comprehensive training where you’ll walk away with an industry accredited qualification.
