Lead The Way Canine Care Description

Fully insured and Disclosure Scotland checked. References can be provided though some of my customers have also left reviews on this page.

I have over 18 years of experience with dogs including several years working with an animal rescue in Ireland rehabilitating rescues and strays. I currently train in agility with my dogs Riley, Rolo and Fidget in order to give my dogs challenges both mentally and physically.

In 2016 I was fortunate enough to transition from office life into being self-employed and I decided to follow my passion and love for animals and build a business on it. So far I have had many wonderful experiences with the most beautiful dogs but I am always happy to welcome more into the fold.

I am very flexible and can deal with dogs on an ad-hoc basis. I have and will continue to provide emergency cover for my customers when they require it, I always make sure I have at least 2 spaces available in a day to cover emergencies.

I have worked with many puppies and I am happy to take them on, I always have with me a sling to carry young dogs so they can have break periods on our walks. It is important that they can get socialising at an early age so I will accept them one week after they have their final vaccinations.

All dogs require proof of initial puppy vaccinations and a titre test at 15 months, any additional annual vaccinations are at the discretion of the owner and are not mandatory. I do, however, highly recommend all owners have their dogs Kennel Cough vaccination done at the very least annually, with the nasal injection. The Kennel Cough vaccine is not to be confused with the other vaccines, it does not provide immunity for life, think of it like the flu vaccine, it only lasts for a few months depending on the dog before it requires boosting.
