Wow what can I say... Review for Granite Grit ~ This is honestly not the kind of book I would read normally, but I am really glad I did, I couldn't put it down, it was very easy to read, and I found myself picturing the scenes all the way through, great story line, great ending and can't wait for the next one!

Working from home, I decided to grab a few chapters during a lunch break. I honestly couldn't put it down! When I got to chapter 30 I decided it was time to get on with my work. I couldn't focus on my work, I was totally hooked and couldn't wait.... The story line is totally gripping.

Whether your a lover of boxing, martial arts or you've never even put a pair of gloves on - this book will hook you in from the get go! Bought for me as a christmas gift and really enjoyed it; definitely gritty, dark situations that have you wincing and moments that make you realise who you are really rooting for! Definitely worth checking out (no matter your sporting interests!!) and looking forward to the next installment already!

Well, for someone who doesn't read fiction and certainly not fighting stories, I read your book over the holidays and had difficulty putting it down. What a gritty local story.

Well what can I say - never thought I'd enjoy a book about boxing. But once started I had to keep reading. Easy to read, brilliant story line, and have to read the next chapter. The characters are believable, the story is believable. Great job Lee, waiting (not patiently) for the next one .

Started and finished this book in under 48 hours....a first for me! Excellent read, complex and realistic characters that hook you in and make the book a real page turner. Any fan of gritty action, combat sports or just good hard hitting fiction will love this for sure; for those that don't normally pick up books in these categories - I recommend Granite Grit as the book to break you out of your comfort zone! The author takes us on a rollercoaster journey, with a finale of twists that will leave you hoping the release of his next book is not far away! 5 stars from me!

I bought this book only because Lee was a friend of my nephew who sadly passed away. My husband never reads books but he had a look and he couldn't put it down, never been known. I decided to try it as I didn't think it was for me, but i was pleasantly surprised, it is really good and would reccomend it to anyone. Roll on the next one Lee.

Very well written, gripped me from start to finish and I don't like reading.. Easy to read, the writings not too small and lots of short chapters packed full of action makes for a much more enjoyable read.. Can just read a few chapters at a time if you want and easy to pick up the story again where left. Not long after putting the book down I was soon picking it up again to read a few more chapter to find out what happens next all the way to the end.

Great book got it from waterstones on Tuesday and finished it on Wednesday easy to read with a great twist at the end,hope the next one is as good and out soon,well done loon

Addictive reading. A definite page turner. Not a fan of fighting but this book certainly made me consider the deeper emotions of a fighter. Lee, the author has done a great job at helping his reader connect with the main character ..... Feel like I know him .... Want to hear what happens now !!!!!!!

Loved the way it took me on the main character's journey and the descriptive writing made it easy to understand and read.
