Can you help? Legion Scotland have been approached to ask if we had any representatives at the Strathblane Service on Sunday who perhaps could help with the search or information on a lost medal.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning We will remember them.

Only a handful of tickets remain for the Concert of Remembrance this Friday. It promises to be a very special evening of reflection and remembrance. Our thanks go to The City of Edinburgh Council and our generous sponsors WYG for their support. Tickets are still available from https://tickets.usherhall.co.uk/…/2018- 11-…/assembly%20rooms

The Legion Scotland Concert of Remembrance will be held in Edinburgh in a major commemoration marking the centenary of the end of the First World War. It will also serve as an opportunity to say Thank You to the generation who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
Bands of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland and Royal Air Force Central Scotland Pipes and Drums will feature in a stirring night of music reflecting on the events of the ‘war to end all wars’.
The event will be narrated by Scottish actress Rose McBain (Monarch of the Glen) and the military bands will be joined singer and TV presenter Isla St Clair, Legion Scotland Sweetheart Amy Hawthorn, Scottish piper Erin Ritchie, the soulful voice of Ibiyemi Osinaike and singer songwriters Alan Brydon and Stuart McLean.

Members of the Royal British Legion Scotland Carnoustie Branch were recently featured in the Courier for their involvement in a poignant floodlit commemoration at the local memorial for two Angus Victoria Cross Heroes of the First World War.
The branch along with Carnoustie Golf Links have combined to stage a special commemoration as darkness falls on Saturday November 10th as part of the town's remembrance weekend contribution to the Armistice.
