Lemon And Thyme Restaurant

The Lemon and Thyme Restaurant is currently seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in the hospitality sector, be competent in running a Front of House service of up to 40 covers per evening, work unsupervised using their experience and initiative, provide training to new starting members of the team, be aware of current legislation and be proficient in cash handling, taking payment and generally being the face... of the restaurant.
Candidates must be 18+, have a good spoken and written level of English, be eligible to work in the UK and be willing to work most evenings and weekends (5 days out of 7).

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last week. Our server was especially delightful and attentive, even after the restaurant started to get busy. We are now recommending our AirBnB guests go for a nice, relaxing dinner.

So tonight myself, fiancée and 2 friends tried the first evening service at Lemon & Thyme - and we were not disappointed! For a non dessert eater, I even had the dessert after 2 fab courses! Well done Pietre and a big thanks to Sheila who amazingly our friends knew her from 20 years ago at the Tillmouth! We’ll be back for sure! ���

Lovely meal tonight for my birthday. The food was excellent and the service was even better. They made my night special and went out of their way to adapt the menu for my teenage son. Cannot fault them. Brilliant.

Impromptu birthday celebration for my friend. Fantastic service by David and Sophie. The food and bubbles were well presented and very tasty. Even accommodated our unusual dessert request. All in the midst of a busy evening due to the civic parade. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely meal here tonight, Thanks to the chef and to Gavin for being so attentive. The food is first class and desserts are just amazing. I hope to come back next time I am in the area.

Had a beautiful lunch here today. The seafood platter was excellent would recommend it. The quality of the food and presentation was perfect.The staff were very helpful.

To be honest, we had mixed feelings going back to our favourite place after everything that has happened, but we were delighted - the welcome, the service and the food was excellent. Well done to the folks at Lemon & Thyme, great to have this in Kelso!
