It's always a good day when you realise that you've managed to get your "Official artist" blue tick beside your name, despite neglecting to try and build listeners to your music on Spotify.
I will be releasing new music eventually and would love it if before I bring any new music to the table, my kindest supporters would help me build a buzz! That involves adding me to your playlists, leaving reviews on my Facebook page and even just googling my name as often as you can 😉

I have a favour to ask from all my spotify loving friends. I am trying to build my presence on Spotify since winning my coveted artist blue tick! I've neglected the song I have released and it is showing through poor listening stats etc.
Could everybody who has spotify, like and share this banging playlist of Scottish bands and artists, follow my artist page and place my song Out of the Valley onto a few playlists of their own.

It's been almost 2 years since I recorded my debut single Out of the Valley.
TRUE FACT: The song was recorded the day before I quit smoking for good.
The vocals I laid down for this track, while at the time I thought they were good, I listen back now and I feel mortified. My voice since quitting smoking has come on leaps and bounds and I really cannot wait for the chance to get back into the studio to record new material I have written.
... Despite this, I think you should buy the mp3 version of the song now, as it won't be available for too much longer, because, yes, I'm going to be recording new material soon. 😉

I've had to make the decision to say goodbye to my own music website www.lesleyannclubb.com I designed the site from scratch and worked so very hard making sure it was perfect for users on their phone as well as desktop. I added my music, my bio, pictures, song lyrics and wrote several blog articles that I am incredibly proud of.
Unfortunately traffic has dwindled of late and I can no longer afford to pay the server costs and domain name for a website that brings in very litt...le traffic and income. This may be a bit of a setback but by freeing myself up from the costs of hosting the website, I can allow myself to invest more in the social enterprise Lamentally Sound which will be using music to help others affected by mental ill health.
There is always a silver lining to every situation and I look forward to your support with the set up of Lamentally Sound.
I will still have my Facebook page and will still be working away writing songs and performing, there just won't be a website to be nosey at anymore. Thanks 😘

This is an awesome facility, we need more like this in Scotland and it is something that I would love to set up in the Fife area as part of the social enterprise called Lamentally Sound that I am trying to get off the ground. These guys are total role models!

If it wasn't for having a wonderful teacher who kindly offered free guitar tuition at primary school, I wouldn't be where I am today. It's a disgrace that only the well off are allowed to learn music.
