Conflicting information which let to ridiculous amounts taken off deposit, and no support in resolving the matter
Very poor. Accompanied my daughter to view a property in Paisley today. Representative was unsure of where the property was in the building. On entering the flat it was full of belongings and representative stated "oh they are getting ready to move out" (clearly just making it up as he went along). I was already uneasy about this when the tenant of the property emerged from his bedroom, rightly concerned as to why somebody had invaded the privacy, security and sanctity of his home. He was a remarkably polite and understanding gentleman, and I can only extend my apologies to him again. He had moved in to the flat two days ago. We wasted precious time and money on this farce, and must have given the poor chap the fright of his life. This is basic stuff folks. Downright appalling service from this so called agency. Let It? Forget it.
Stayed in a property from this agency for 3 years. Staff were helpful and understanding of any issues that came up. As expected there were some repairs problems but these were dealt with and at the end of the tenancy the staff talked me through what I needed to do to get my deposit back - which I did.
Don't seem to be on the ball with anything. Arranged a viewing for 10.30 and called when arrived in the close to be told to wait outside and the agent would meet me there. Waited for ages then rang only to be told that the agent had been and was away again? Apparently he was in the property taking readings , the office didn't even seem bothered.
Has nothing but bad experience from the start.
This is on my partners behalf as he is fed up of dealing with them and doesn't want to make a fuss however ....
The shower was leaking downstairs which took them 3 months to fix.
Secondly one of the poorly fitted mirrors on the wall fell in top of me whilst sleeping, after my other half emailing to request that he could take them down, he did (and with permission) only to find a massive hole in the wall that they had been covering.
When this issue was brought up let it tried to say that he would be held accountable for any damage. Luckily the removing of the mirrors was documented and after much discussion it was agreed it was not his fault and it would be fixed. A further 2 months down the line this issue is still not been resolved even though the heating bills are increasing due to the cold and the draft coming through the wall.
The company have demanded we have to fix it or else we will be give his notice.
I personally think this is a disgrace and would not recommend them to anyone.
Worst letting agents I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Do not use this organization, they will rip you off at every opportunity that they can.
The property I moved into was left in a mess: the garden had been left to grow for a year, the carpet smelt like animal pee in one room, a broken freezer with moldy food was left in the back garden, the radiators and extractor units were full of dust and all three bins were overflowing with mixed trash and raw sewage.
All of the above was left for us as tenants as a "welcome gift" to fix on our own, despite saying that they would take care of it, they lied.
The agents are unhelpful, patronizing and rude. For your own sake I sincerely suggest using a different agency, even if you like the property that they may be letting.
I have no doubt that I will very likely lose my £550 deposit in some way simply by writing this review. Make my sacrifice worth it friends!
