Charming historic Scottish station. There are sometimes no members of staff on site but automated ticket machines work just fine. Frequent ScotRail trains head both North and South with Virgin Trains East Coast services down to England. You can catch the 99 bus to either St Andrews or Dundee right outside the station and taxi companies operate trips from here too.

Good service to/from Edinburgh. In the middle of nowhere with few services available. Stagecoach buses do not wait for train passengers so be ready for that. Buses to St Andrews are quite frequent though (up to every 10 minutes).
