Leven Golfing Society Description
Welcome to the world’s 11th oldest Golf Club, Leven Golfing Society and to the famous Leven Links. The iconic Clubhouse which overlooks what is claimed to be the second most difficult finishing hole in Scottish golf with the demonic Scoonie Burn surrounding the Green, is a magnificent turreted building housing many historical artefacts including the famous Standard Life Gold Medal which is older than the Open Championship’s Claret Jug. The Standard Life Open Amateur Stroke-play Championship which is the world’s oldest such competition was inaugurated in 1870 and has been won by many famous golfers including perhaps the most famous of all, LEE WESTWOOD OBE who earlier this year kindly agreed to accept the Patronage of the Club.

What a lovely day that was, great company, great course and the staff and the food was superb. I can only highly recommend. Bravo!
Very friendly club house and a stunning traditional Scottish links get it on your must play list
The biggest stroke of luck was not being able to dine at Agenda tonight, one table seated at 5pm and they weren't able to accommodate a table of 4.
A kindly male member let us in and then spoke to the bar staff to get us a table. The service and food was excellent and a fabulous view from the clubhouse. £12.50 for fillet steak which was delicious and the kids were delighted with their 2 course kids meal for a fiver. We'll be back and I might even play golf
The best links in Scotland
Played today on a sunny Spring morning. Greens excellent with a few fairways needing a bit rain and sun.
Food in Clubhouse very good and great value.
Lovely place to visit and play.
Thanks to Bill Kinnear for his hospitality.
Played this great course a few times over the years as a visitor and loved it every time.
Finally joined the club as a member, and found everyone very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely lunch today to celebrate our wedding anniversary, thanks to Jules, Ulna and staff X
Longstone golf section held our outing at leven and from the welcome from the catering staff to Laurie at pro shop we had a wonderful time well looked after thoroughly recommend to anyone for a round with friends our an outing won't be disappointed thanks again Willie secretary longstone golf section

Had a great day here for the MND charity day on 04/05/15. Great course, good food. All round a fantastic day.
Great food, great bunch of people..... Carvery day is my favourite day lol
Friendly welcome as usual and food very good and piping hot. Good portion sizeand excellent value for money. Can't comment on the golf but dad loves it.
Food is excellent and is always made welcome easy access for wheelchair
Fantastic links course, pure test, great atmosphere, super friendly staff and members!
Excellent food with stunning views and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you
