Lichfield Friary Lawn Tennis Club

Founded in 1937, we are Lichfield's only club exclusively for tennis. From coaching and playing to competitions, all ages and abilities can get involved.

Situated in the historic city of Lichfield, we offer a friendly, welcoming environment where players of all ages and abilities can get involved. Our mini tennis and junior tennis programmes are ideal for juniors aged from 4 up to 18, while we also offer beginners coaching for adults, and a range of tournaments and other opportunities for more experienced players.

The club has a long history in Lichfield, and have been at our current premises since 1985. In 2012 we merged with the Lichfield (Birmingham Road) Tennis Club to become the city's only club devoted exclusively to tennis.
