It's been 50 years since Elvis Presley - the undisputed king of rock - performed in his legendary '68 comeback concert recorded on 3 December, 1968.
Originally airing as a TV special - having not appeared on stage in front of a live audience for more than seven years - this spectacular performance is seen by many as the Memphis icon's most substantial achievement as a stage performer.
The special sees him performing alone as well as in jam sessions with Scotty Moore and DJ Fo...ntana, his early backing musicians. Including renditions of his greatest hits and more, the special has become one of the greatest moments in rock music history and a stunningly brilliant milestone in Elvis's career.
This event includes a cinema exclusive, special introduction and studio tour by Steve Binder (the orignal producer and director), including special guest appearances and commentary offering a unique perspective on Elvis and his iconoic status.
A must-see for fans of Elvis and Rock and Roll.
We have 2 encore screenings 11:45 and 18:15 on September 3rd.

It’s a great cinema...don’t get me wrong....but why oh why do they still allow crisps, and rustle food into the theatres. We wen5 to see the ROH screening of Swan Lake. A beautiful, classic Ballet. Unfortunately our experience was ruined by people either side of us chugging beer and crunching on crisps and popcorn. Bloody annoying to be honest. I can understand it’s ok for a loud action film for instance, but not for the Ballet!!

I have previously had good experiences at this particular cinema. Unfortunately this time failed to live up to the previous experiences. We went to see infinity war and were very excited after all the hype. Letting people in once the film had started was very distracting as they walked passed. But more disappointing was the fact that the picture cut out four times during the film. This really took away from the whole experience and not one staff member apologised for this. Work needs to be done to improve things.

Smelly, dirty and expensive. Went yesterday to see Ready Player One in screen 8. The cinema smelt awful, the cup holders were minging dirty and chairs looked griimy and the arms ripped. Unfortunately we had spent over £40 by the time we had got in the screen so couldn't vote with our feet. We had spent over £30 tickets alone plus drinks and snacks to be met with surly staff. The guy in the bar seemed too stressed to make 2 teas (cost - nearly £5!) even though there were hardly any other customers. To top it all it cost £4 for parking, even with a validated ticket. Luckily the film and company were good, everything else, not so much. Parking is free at Harlow Cineworld Queensgate where we usually go and the staff and atmosphere much pleasanter at Bishop Stortford's Empire so we shall choose either of those next time we want to go to see a film.

Employee didn't let me in after the beginning of the movie saying that it's your policy not to lwt people in after a certain time. As an infinity customer I am deeply disappointed in your service, since I am a quiet person and wouldn't have disturbed anyone coming inside (there are people who go to the toilet in the middle of the movie and no one says anything to them!).
