👩🏻‍🎓Seriously out of my comfort zone today -going back to university for the first time in two decades. I’ve been accepted onto the Growth Advantage Programme at Strathclyde University’s Hunter School of Entrepreneurship. It is two intense days a month for ten months. Such an amazing range of businesses and business owners. Now back to the studio to do some real work! 💼🌂

👯‍♀️ My feet have barely touched the ground since landing home from Cambodia. There have been some really exciting developments while we’ve been away. Can’t wait to share some of these with you. Meanwhile a huge thank you to David, Alexander, Eva and Emma for keeping the show on the road while we were away. It was really busy with orders and my team were heroic. Thanks to everyone who shopped with us over the last fortnight. Inevitably, there were a couple of glitches but we’ve sorted them out and every single customer I have spoken to was lovely and charming and patient. We’re back and firing on all cylinders. ⛩ 🌺 Sitting in Bangkok Airport waiting for our flight home. It’s been an amazing fortnight -so many things to work on when we get back. I’m excited about new gemstones, new finishes and more versatile designs. The team back in the studio have been heroic. 🏝⛱ It’s been an almost perfect day here. The rumoured storm did not materialise and instead the sun shone and it was a little bit of paradise. We leave tomorrow early for the long journey home. It’s been an amazing trip. Thanks to everyone who has followed us and commented on our posts. I’m full of inspiration and can’t wait to get back to the studio to try some new things out. It’s been really helpful having this perspective on the business too. Perhaps, the weather has been a bit of a metaphor-maybe we need to concentrate on the good things happening now and not worry too much about storms which may never materialise. Gillian 🌺🇰🇭

🏯🌺 It’s all become a bit damp here. We reached the island of Koh Rong off Cambodia in a torrential tropical rainstorm so no pictures of sunset beaches I’m afraid. A storm is forecast for tomorrow 🏝💦 But how fabulous do these temple dancers at Angkor Wat look? The costumes and headdresses are simply stunning. 💛

💕🇰🇭Just some of the amazing gemstones 💎 we have seen on our trip to Thailand and Cambodia. I am lusting after the rose quartz pendant. The setting of the stones is incredible. We’ve caught the tail end of the typhoon and are currently holed up in Sihanoukville on the coast of Cambodia. But despite a hairy flight with two attempts at landing we are safe. 🕊💗One of the most exciting things I remember doing as a child was visiting a stately home where peacocks roamed free. It was at a time when the birds were moulting and we were able to collect the feathers they shed and allowed to take them home. I had never seen anything as exotic in nature. I still have some of these feathers with their beautifully”eyes”. When my grandmother, the original Lily Blanche, lived in India, peacocks roamed the grounds. Feathers translate so well i...n silver and gold. In addition to our little Feather collection, I wanted to design something more exotic to celebrate the peacock feathers in my grandmother’s garden. The Precious Feathers collection is one of our earliest collections and features sterling silver and onyx. We’ve just updated the images on the website. 🌺⛩Leaving Bangkok and the Fabulous Shangri-La Hotel. Snatching a few days in Cambodia. Bangkok has changed enormously in the six years since I was last hear. Business is booming. The big international brands are here en masse. Last time we saw a lot of rabbits in frocks. This time just one dog wearing sunglasses. I guess that is a sort of progress! 🏯🎋

My gold memory keeper locket arrived without any trouble, just as ordered. The pictures were great and already inserted. Communication and customer service was exceptional. I love it so much I may never take it off.

My boyfriend bought me the rose gold memory keeper last year for my birthday, and I hadn’t managed to get the pictures inserted yet. I emailed Gillian and she responded straight away saying she could print them for me! The pictures were sent out to me within about 1-2 weeks which was amazing and all free of charge! They were sent in a lovely card too, the little touches that are made mean so much when buying products. The pictures are so meaningful to me, and I can keep all my loved ones, especially my grandad who is no longer with us, close to my heart in this beautiful locket. Every time I wear it I have compliments from it! Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service and beautiful products. Xx
