⭐️Happy New Year! ⭐️ We hope that everyone had a great festive season. We had the most fantastic first year at Limestone Cottage. 🍃We welcomed guests from 27 different countries 🌎 and have been so lucky to have such lovely people staying with us. We are welcoming our last guests today and will then be closed until the Spring, where we’ll be excited to do it all again. Thank you all for your support in 2018! ❤️

We’re thrilled to reach Superhost on Airbnb, we’ve loved having people from all over the world to stay with us this season. It’s hard work but we’re enjoying it and look forward to another busy season! Thanks to our lovely Airbnb guests for all their kind reviews. 🏠🌟

It’s a rare sunny day today, we’re still hoping for an Indian summer before the winter truly hits. Fuel up with a delicious breakfast in our dining room before your day of exploring, you may not even notice the weather! 🌪☀️☔️

Our Family room is a lovely spacious room to sleep 3 with exposed stone walls. It has an en-suite, TV, tea and coffee facilities and a cosy feel. Enjoy our books and comfy chair.

Our characterful twin room is spacious with a good sized en-suite and comfortable with nice chairs to enjoy the beautiful views out to the sea and mountains.

Our light and airy King Room has an en-suite, tea and coffee, a TV, and a beautiful view from the original sash windows of the sea and mountains.

While you’re here why not show everyone at home what they’re missing? We have some postcards of our beautiful cottage for you to send to family and friends or to send yourself!

We have been quiet because we’ve been BUSY! We’re so enjoying meeting all our great guests from all over the world, they are loving Skye and loving our little cottage. Long may it continue! 🍃🌞

What do you prefer for breakfast? Sweet 🥞 or savory 🥓🍳 or both? We had some hungry guests last week who took advantage of what was on offer, why not!

Our very first guests, who came all the way from Arizona, were so kind to send us a lovely thank you card for their stay! We enjoyed having them very much, we hope you come back again 😊

The rain has stopped and the sun is back out, but for how long? We took the chance to put up our brand new sign that just arrived so that you can find us easily!

On rainy days such as these then you can lose yourself in our books that may just have as much charm(s) in them as our cottage! ✨

In a place like the Isle of Skye, you need to embrace the local culture. The Limestone Cottage is a little bit of heaven. Anna and Jan are superb hosts - the cottage is beautiful inside and out with every convenience one needs. Anna’s breakfasts are delicious! The view is wonderful.

The warmth of the place and owners makes you want to stay and never leave!

Great stay at Limestone Cottages. in late June. There was a warm welcome, spacious and comfortable rooms (we used both Twin and King rooms) with wonderful views. We would strongly recommend Limestone Cottages as your base for beautiful Skye. David & Judith.
