Today is International Albinism Awareness Day! Sadly many children in sub-Saharan Africa living with albinism are still not safe in their communities, stymieing their opportunities and preventing many from attending school.
Our community-led projects work to help make schools safe for all children, including those with albinism. We are all equal, and we all deserve a quality education.

📣 Construction update! 📣 Check out progress at the brand new secondary school we're building in #Ethiopia! We can't believe how quickly it's going up.
Once complete, hundreds of children will have the chance to go to secondary school for the very first time. Stay tuned for more updates!

Apparently today is menstrual hygiene day!
Sadly girls all over sub-Saharan Africa are still missing school days during their period. Whether it's from a lack of sanitary products, lack of appropriate single-sex toilets at school, or ongoing stigma, Link is committed to tackling all of these barriers and getting girls into school and learning.
No girl should miss school because of her period. Period. Hit share if you agree.

Here's some lunchtime viewing! Which may lead to lunchtime dancing... We're really proud of our work encouraging all children to be welcome and safe at school in #Malawi, including those with albinism.

Is it wrong that we're feeling kind of inspired by this classroom in #Ethiopia and wishing we had a lovely song every morning to greet each other at Link HQ? Hopefully we don't need it for English homework, but we can't help thinking it would be a lovely start to the day!
