Linked Work And Training Trust Description
LWTT offers an innovative programme - unique in the United Kingdom - of education and work-based learning with a community development focus. This allows people the opportunity to work in a local community and at the same time to train to degree level in community learning and development.
The Bachelor of Community Learning and Development degree carries endorsement as a qualification in community learning and development and is awarded by the University of Glasgow.
In addition to the degree level courses LWTT provides bespoke training and support on engaging and empowering communities in matters of community development, regeneration, advocacy and representation. Our short courses and qualifications range from access courses to degree level and post-graduate programmes, SCQF Levels 6-11
This is part of a suite of services we deliver as ‘LWTT Learning Academy’, specifically aimed at ‘Up-Skilling the Workforce’.
